All I here from Europe is what kind of car that someone drives, but I have never heard anyone mention that they drive a truck. So is it just a North American thing or what?

In New Zealand they like the el comino kind of thing. They call them utes, it's short for utility.

I can't remember the brand but my buddy was all excited and showing me one, these two young guys had pulled up in to smoke a little weed and drink a couple of beers in after they had finished work.

I'll see what I can google up for you.

I think it was one of these.

Dad owns an older-model Datsun (most of you know them as Nissans) and some sort of lowered (shudders) chevy pick-up. A larger, non-lowered chevy sits near the shop, as does a '80 Z28 Camero. I'd like to get the later two working for my own use and sell the Grand Am.

I kind of knew people in the States, Canada, and Mexico drove pick-up trucks, I was curious of the Europeans though. And Dekloran, please keep that out of this thread from now on, that's all I ask.

When I lived in Europe I didn't see any trucks.

Here in Australia(yes places other than Europe or America exist) there are 4wd and I reckon in the bogan areas yeah people would drive 4wd large enough to be considered trucks...or tanks

Kind of figured for Australia, that's why I didn't ask. And forgive my Aussie slang ignorance, but is a bogan similar to the outskirts of a town or the like?

"bogan"= white-trash, to my understanding.
