and under the threat of invasion would you stand and fight or flee?

Well I probably would considering I have served in the army before but that was years ago however the situation could be a bad reason, but hey i can still run and fire a gun so why not?

Also there probably would be no fighting anymore if it was on a mass scale because of all the neuclear weapons.

Enough of these annoying ass threads. I don't get why wicked would lock my thread about the game when these kind of threads, set up by brooksie, with the same right wing bs don't ever get locked and hes allowed to roam free.

us aussies would stand and fight to the last.

besides there are far too many great white sharks between us and every other country for fleeing to be an option.

I would protect my home and family from any enemy, foreign or domestic. Would I join the military, though? Hell no.

I would never actively seek to kill another person, which I think is what you mean by "stand and fight".

I'd probably go to my parents' farm in the countryside and just... try to live.

I have enough weapons on my own. Between my father and I, we could supply a third-world country.

Well you don't have to kill another person to help out, you could be a mechanic or something like that.

I remember what war was like and I don't like it. But I would stay and I would fight although I really don't believe guns can solve anything.

Ahh..... I see what you're getting at.... lets use nukes!!! :) but yeah i think if i suffered war when i was a child i think i would not be able to cope even though i was in the army when i was a young man.

Yes definately war can affect people in different ways, especially when you're young and have lost a family member or close friend.

Agreed! Thank God I didn't loose a family member!
I was 9 when war broke out and I remember the fear, the shelter in my basement (where almost all my neighbors came regularly), my father that was on guard duty with civil defense (he volunteered for army, but they turned him down because he was too old so went to civil defense), refugees that we took...
Any my village wasn't so affected by war (although we were 4 miles from enemy positions they only managed to blow up our gas station).
I'm a pacifist but effects of that war are still strong in me.
