About the news story, pretty freaky. I've also heard another theory about how a black hole could kill us all. If dark matter(the [hypothetical] expanding matter that causes the universe to grow and be pretty damn near infinite) does exist and does happen to get inside a black hole, it could cause the hole to expand until it is eventually large enough to swallow the entire universe. But unlike a particle accelerator, even if this does happen to...happen, it'll probably take quite a long time.
