I think liverpool's manager can get the best out of his players .. hence i voted 'pool. On paper Chelsea look unbeatable, but they never quite get the best out of their players, like Duff and Robben.

I'm dying to see how Shevchenko works out in the lone striker role.

Duff no longer plays at Chelsea. He was sold.

I dont understand chelseas purchasing policy. They bought Shaun Wright Phillips, which was wasted. Now they buy Ballack (whats the point when you already have Lampard, Mackalele etc.)

Benitez is pathetic. I thought he was good until i saw liverpool vs West Ham? in the FA Cup. There performance was pitiful in a final. emphasis on final.

Chelski, unfortunately.

United need a striker like Adriano or Defoe and a world class midfielder to compete for the title, but they'll still be the second best team with Scholes, Solskjaer and Smith coming back in. Carrick's a good signing, though way overpriced. If they do get Hargreaves he'll be immense for them, the way he ran the game against Portugal ws better then Keane at his best.

Liverpool should get third, and Kewell could well be the best player in the Prem this season if he avoids injury. Kewell, Sissoko, Alonso and Gerrard. Thats a hell of a midfield  Not sure about Bellamy and Fowler up front. Could be fantastic, could be a nightmare, could, lets face it, be in jail.

Arsenal are going to be really good in a couple of seasons if they can hold onto Fabregas, Van Persie and the other youngsters but this year they'll be totally dependant on Henry, and he's not quite good enough to win the league by himself. Rosicky is CLASS, I always sign him in management games, but him and Henry apart, if Reyes goes then the rest of the squad is average. I think Spurs will beat them to fourth.

Tottenham will be great to watch, Berbatov will be up there with Henry and Shevchenko for top scorer, and with him, Keane and Defoe Spurs have the best set of fowards in the Prem. They'll miss Carrick, but Zokora's steel in midfield will probably make him a more important player for them.. it's not like Spurs are short of flair. Fourth, and maybe a cup.

So yeah. Chelsea to win the league, the mighty Fulham to finish 16th. Then Coleman will discover oil in his back garden, we'll buy everyone and turn Stamford Bridge into a toilet.

Gavin: Pretty sure the main reason Chelsea bought Ballack was so he wouldn't go to United. It's what I'd have done if I had 11 squillion pounds and no conscience :)

He's a top TOP player too though, you're lucky to have him.

lol - I would hardly call picking a team that boasts one of the worlds best players in each position to win the premiership "jumping on the bandwagon"

Chelski to purchase their third straight. Ballack and Wright-Phillips will drown their sorrows in bitter, hijack a lorrie, and be arrested on terrorism charges. Roman will then have to pay their legal fees, bankrupting him, and forcing Jose to pass the hat at team meetings. Chelski relegated in 2009.

I'm pulling for Leicester. I don't know where they are in the tournament, or if they're even in it at all. But I'm pulling for them.

i don't have to write it, just look at my avatar 8)

i don't think they'll miss van nistelrooy, he was a great goalgetter indeed, but rooney and saha are top class strikers and solskjaer has shown a great form in the preseason... if they manage to sign hargreaves, who knows, maybe the glorious 90's aren't over yet... :D
