Manchester United (a town in the middle of England) are going to play a game of football (aka soccer to our American cousins) against a team wearing blue called 'Chelsea' (from West London, England)

It all happens Wednesday in Moscow.

Now you are upto speed, please post for the record, your predictions for score after 90 minutes, first person to score and the final score if it goes to extra time.

Is there any possible scenario, not excluding time travel and polonium, in which both Chelsea and Man U could lose? And say, a team like Arsenal or Celtic could win? i can't come up with any, so I'll be severely disappointed come Wednesday.

i think there's a rule that if any side is reduced below 8 men then they forfeit the match so it is technically possible for both teams to lose assuming there are two red cards given out at the same time and that each team already has 3 players sent off.

i wouldnt be putting any money on that though

interesting. Given that the ref only has one card, though, he would have to show it to one player at a time. It would be great drama as we wait to see who he sends off first. Unless he made them stand right next to each other, then backed off a way and showed it to them both. That would SUCK.

I say he throws it at them and see who it hits. Sounds like a fair way to resolve a draw.

I'm saying 3 - 1 to Man U, Rooney, Ronaldo & Teves all scoring. (with a possible goal from Giggs in injury time to push it to 4)
