Well certainly 2006 was a building up year. Then came the summer of 2007, possibly the greatast time these forums have ever seen, or for that matter will see in my opinion. Non-stop mafia, great conversations, Twill was gone, Spamalot blooming, interactions with mods, Flame wars flaming at its best, my arrival,norse blessing our presence and numerous other things. Followed by a little decrease in activity in 2008 but seems to be picking up.

So my question for you is, are the great times yet to come or have they passed?

The good times left with Norse. Now we're one step away from PC.

That came off of a birthday card with a black-and-white photo of a dancing 80-year-old woman on it. Mom laughed so hard it is still on the fridge two years later. Actaully, i think that was copywritten. Perhaps I should misspell something.

my favorite was the winter between 06 and 07. Lots of new interesting stuff going on.

IT was a long time ago. From around Feb/March 2007 - Sept 2007. The fall of the Pikachu clan was kinda the end. There were more good times Nov 2007 - Jan 2007, but that was mainly on MSN.

I think the summer is the time to look for. The forums have defiatly been through good times but I think it'll go full cycle. We just need to get past the 'ol winter depression.

Nevertheless, things used to be better, there were more Jesus Freaks around for one thing. I don't agree with much of their system of belief, but they're fun to debate with.

It seems to me that people on forums are always complaining that it used to be much better. People just hate change.

Every forum I've seen always talks about how much better the old days were. Actually, most people I know talk about how much better the old days were.

We all know why it got worse...i stopped posting in Off Topics. That's the reason. i started around May, stopped around the Fall. That's the only explanation.

Of course, it could have to do with the summer

Plus the Spamalot people are pretty much gone
