Actually blue is a very positive spiritual colour, and is used in many popular sayings - true-blue, blue-blooded, blue ribbon, blue stocking....wheras yellow, is associated more with cowardice, hence the expression 'cowardy custard' or how about yellow-bellied, yellow fever, yellow journalism? Should I go on?
