Yes, actually, the second one was genuinely hilarious, whereas the first was basically just painful.

It has everything to do with the participants. In the first, it was two guys who were clearly socially maladroit and would not describe themselves as rappers. In the second, however, everyone there was TRYING (too hard) to be something bigger than just a socially maladroit teenager. They were trying to be rap stars.

Of course, that also scores them more cred points than the boys in the first video, but also makes it real comedy, not just "haha you are attempting to do something you have no idea how nor any desire to do."

Going back to the 70's when mum insults were new, even we could do better! and mum cusses were brand new back then! god these guys should stick to books.

No, the first one was just painful to watch. As somebody said, they're just geeks who were probably forced to do that on some kind of bet by their friends, and have no idea what they're doing and no desire to continue to do it. The second one they actually THOUGHT that they were good. This is what they want to do, what they like doing.

Im not saying the guys in the first video were good, just pointing out their pathetic attempts were very amusing.

The guys in neither video were good. The guys in the first video knew they sucked, which makes it painful. The guys in the second video thought they were awesome, which makes comedy.

That second one gets funnier and funnier with time.

I think i was the one that touched down on that, but yeah call me immature to still like mum cusses but they never stop making me laugh if they're witty and smart, brings back a sorta nostalgic feeling....a addictive feeling....
