You don't seriously believe that. Look at his track record of what happens to his opponents. It wasn't 24 hours after Palin was names that people were "rumoring" that she faked her pregnancy.
Talk about quotes out of context. Despite what Maureen Dowd and others are writing about her, Palin is hardly about dinosaurs fornicating with the devil and burning books. This country have never elected an agnostic, and Obama is a professed Christian. Ask him whether he believes the story of Genesis. Not that I care what he personally believes, but it's very unlikely you'll get a straight answer about what he "believes" because he is a politician who plays both sides of the fence. Palin is comfortable enough in her own skin to say frankly what her personal beliefs are, but those are just that, personal beliefs, and I don't see anything on her record where she tried to impose fundamentalist reforms of the social conservatives. And that's because I'm not just looking at the many out-of-context quotations of things she has said that are now known by nearly everyone here... and the "conclusions" spun by the pundits who have "analyzed" them. It's mostly opinion, a lot of it is stuff that ordinary people agree with, AND some of it is just funny. Yes people, she was joking that hockey mom's are pit bulls with lipstick. It was not code that she is a neo-nazi!
Palin is a populist conservative pragmatist. That is like anti-matter for the mass of voters over the age ot 23 to OBama's brand of populist liberal la-la idealism. Obama's team knows he is in trouble, but he is sitting on the high ground waiting for something to blow up that will discredit her. It's always conveniently worked for him before.
