Addicted to the Forums or to Yourself?

We roam around looking for interest or intrigue - filtering the dullards and the sycophants; the verbal masturbators ..those void of mutuality at least; those who can't flick a wink as they reach crescendo!
And then we grace a topic: sometimes as guerilla, spiteful and scornful or detracted and uncertain; sometimes we throw in a lazy one-liner, munching on a jelly-tot to pass the time.. just until the main meal is cooked.
Eventually we spill out onto the mother-load! We discover a dalliance worthy of our precious cogitation!
My question is, when we get there.. is it merely the addiction with our own ego which we seek to feed? Or better yet, is it the vain fascination with who we want to be with the exclusion of realities weakness?
Once we get there, to the mother-load, once we 'engage' in the folly of verbal tango! Are we only really entering into a soliloquy?
When handed a picture album we only really look for our own image.
As such, are we who knows each other best? A group of random drinkers, all perched at the bar of 'Inconsequential Bullshit'
.. it must be happy-hour.. no need to reply!

I describe myself more of a people watcher. The type of person who likes to sit at a cafe and watch the people walk by. Look at their body language, see how they interact with people. Once in a while a CC'r will catch my attention and I will follow their exploits ( yes, stalking) like a soap opera character on TV until the character gets dry or disappears (free Suggs).

I always thought I was addicted to the forums.
I guess I am such an attention whore that I was in denial for a long time!
Then clapper reached out to help, at first I resisted, then I caved in!
I mean hell what better way to get attention than to admit my short comings as a attention seeker!!
Yes, I am addicted to myself
the forum and cookies is a close second though

You should know the drill by now, "two in the pink, one in the Kamchatka".

ahhhhh that's how it starts... then one day you are a full blown lyrical wanker; spewing out self-ingratiating, platitudes like a chaffinch with a BeeBee gun!

Nope.
Some people, who will not be named, have even quit Risk entirely but still can't break their addiction to coming in here and talking smack.

Ok ok, but i haven't quit playing, i just don't have consistent access to a PC, and don't like to deadbeat. I also don't have the time to do both right now, and if it comes to a choice between games and the forum . . .
