Here are some in my opinion of the worst or most violent football fans and what they're associated with

Red star Belgrade - Serbia A.K.A. yugoslavia - (politics)
Celtic FC - Scotland/United Kingdom - (Religion, Catholicism)
Rangers FC - Scotland/United Kingdom - (Religion, Protestantism)
Manchester United - England/United Kingdom - (Gang related activity)
West Ham FC - England/United Kingdom - (Gang related activity)
All Italian football clubs - Italy - (Mafia related and asshole related activity)

Of course, all Football teams have their' gangs

I've always wanted to visit the UK but, now I realize that theres nothing to do there but get drunk, go to soccer games and brawl until you go back to work stuffing sheep dung into little tubes to use as toothpaste.

Unfortunately the picture that poor old brooksie paints is about 20 years out of date, biggest danger at most games comes from the food nowadays. However I do feel you are wise to stay at home where you can go to church,date your cousin and clean your big gun whilst working out where to live now your mums trailer has been repossesed

In my exeprience, the 2 most violent fan bases are:

1. Little League baseball

Football hooligans - in fact football fans in general - are fucking arseholes who tend to fall in to 2 categories:
1) People who like football because it's cool (mostly support Chelsea/Man Utd/Arsenal/Liverpool/Rangers/Celtic in my experience)
2) Dickheads who want to feel like they're a hardman (eg Millwall, WHU)

Don't get me wrong, i like watching football ... just not football supporters (generally, some are cool but they're very much a minority)

And your not a fucking arsehole for making such a sweeping generalisation and ignoring a million fans who support their local team through thick and thin ( mostly thin ). I support the Hammers because they were the closest team to where I grew up, in 40 years of following them I have seen limited success but the loyalty of the fans has always been phenomenal. I have many times witnessed the followers of unfashionable clubs turn up in large numbers on cold wet midweek evenings, often that would have meant an afternoon off work and a lengthy journey, how many times have you shifted your arse off the sofa and actually attended a game ?

i'm quite surprised that nufc havn't been mentioned. not too many football hooligans throw petrol bombs into the away fans (west ham) end. although that was in the 70's.

one of my own experiences against the cunts was being led out of sjp to central station, with a police cordon keeping us (safc) moving. whilst at the same time being pelted by full brown ale bottles. that was bang out of order as there were fans of all ages amongst us.

also the biggest organised meet outside of a football game was between scc (safc)and kbb (nufc). there was absolute carnage, with one of our lads almost dying. huge amounts of jail was done for that on both sides.

i think organised meets are thoroughly acceptable, as both parties are willing participants.

turkish fans are the most cowardly, man to man they will run for a copper. should've seen the cunts at the SOL a few years back. i also heard from a friend who went to istanbul to watch arsenal a few years back, how they were all armed and even starting fights with old men.

leeds, cardiff, man city, tottenham, pompey, middlesborough, everton will always provide trouble, if thats your thing.

ahmm, 1 trophy in my 38 years alive. hopefully not for long. i support Rangers, as my family are all from Glasgow.

Although it is not as bad nowadays it is still a problem, look at red star belgrade for instance and go and tell me football fans are not "as bad"
