What ever happened to the music of the good old days?

Lately I have become a big Louis Armstrong fan. Do you think this type of music will ever come back?

Then again, when exactly did it go away? I've got Louis on my Archos, and I'm so fucking with it and cool and shit that it sometimes makes me vomit.

I remember shit loads of kickass threads, the magnificent war with and eventual bloody defeat of the evil spamalot empire (no blame to hecter, it spiraled way out of his control) and flame wars actually being, y'know, flamey.

Know what I saw in Flame Wars yesterday? A poll politely asking if I annoyed people. I swear, I almost cried in despair at the blandness.

This forum needs me. Hell, it needs all of us. We must rise above the mundane shit pedalled by mediocre minds. I think the best way is for me to just randomly be offensive to people I take irrational dislike to.

Flame Wars... I don't even go there anymore, it saddens me... The issue is the fact that the gamers and the rest of us are segregated, and the fact that the mods will lock and merge anything remotely fun(ny) while leaving the most boring shit (note: I'm not talking about the debate threads) open most of the time...

I reckon it is because of the attitudes and actions of moderators. We have been estranged and pretty much told that we aren't particularly wanted. Wicked and Iceman blatantly ignored the rules they were supposed to uphold. There was some major bias, particularly against veterans of this forum.

The height of tensions when the spamalot thread was deleted by iceman, who just was trying ot show off his e-penis.

The posts here not counting.

The locking of any light-hearted threads that are genuinely funny.

I hardly ever go into Flame Wars. I got two threads in there for Twill's response, but it will never happen. I would much rather bitch about the 700 + billion dollars that is getting stolen from us to support wealthy greedy dickwads.

I would post in General Discussion, but I always get locked down or moved...so what's the point?

If you don't like over moderation then you should go to hecter's forum.

Or if you just hate the tactics of over moderation, then you should read and post in Wicked's Blog.

Although I meant this thread to talk about old timey music...I guess we can talk about any type of Whatever Happened....?

Whatever happened to that $700 bn? Lot of good it is going to do when your banks start closing down. How can you be so ignorant that you can not see the signs already. The economic system needed an oil change, and all we did was put more gas in the car. Maybe I am over reacting to the President's speech that we are all screwed...after all, he is a known liar, right?

But I plan on keeping most of my money out of the bank. I will withdraw a little bit every week, and buy guns. Also, I would recommend that you guys start praying.
