1 - porn is not allowed on youtube.
2 - If I link to a site that has a button on its bottom corner that lead to a porn site, would that link be deleted too because it could lead to porn?
3- Mods, sense of humour, proper judgment -please find some.
4 - There are topic on this site of women with scantily clad clothes barely on., but that's ok?
5 - Youtube, ever browsed it?
6 - Conquer club is about having fun, for everybody, not just those with power that get to wield(abuse) it whenever they wish.

I probably should go on, but at the end of the day, when you don't have any power, and reason an rationality have no effect, what can you do?

There must be a very broad definition of pronography on this site
which is all inclusive of things oriented towards rapture.

Nudity and sexual material are not allowed.

... obviously this includes, but is not limited to pornographic material.

That pretty clearly sets off a curiosity as to why the video is not allowed to be seen by minors. I do not have a youtube account, so I asked Twill to check it for me. He said that the video itself was clean but that there were links to others that were not allowed on this site. I then took the appropriate actions based on our Community Guidelines.

If something says you have to be 18 or older to view it, I would highly recommend not posting it on this site. Or be 110% sure that everything on that page is clean.

The link in question was mentally tedious and hard to delete from my memory banks.

Technically, the link was to an age verification form, a page which has absolutely nothing pornographic on it. It would be up to the users over 18 to decide whether or not watching anything that requires such measures is appropriate at the time, and anybody under 18 should not be viewing it at all.

Anybody with a youtube account can flag any video, no matter the content. In fact when you title a video like this you want it flagged, so idiots will really believe they will be on to something.

Precisely. The link takes you to a site that asks for age verification, it doesn't take you directly to the videos.
And if a 16 year old did click on the verification button, what's the worst that could happen? Oh no! A 16 year old has learned how to do a proper breast examination...

Without nipples, because Youtube would probably have removed that. Or said 16 year old might be able to listen to music, the lyrics of which contain uncensored expletives. The horror!

No response from a mod? when your initial claim for locking the thread was false. Do I have to contact Youtube Admin to have them expain to you that porn/nudity etc is not permitted on their site?

Or do you guys(the mods/admin) just bury your heads in the sand when you've made a mistake and are too arrogant to admit your mistake, apologise, and unlock the other topic?

Well, I never looked at the original, because of the age-related warning - I never enable anything like that in case the kids stumble across it (yes, I may have the only porn-free computer in the Northern hemisphere!).
But to lock something acceptable because it sits near something potentially unacceptable would surely mean no links to Yewtoob at all.

The fact the the NSFW-Show-Blitzaholic-lots-of-pics-of-naked-women-covering-breasts-with-their-arms-thread has gone on for so long with noone caring but a youtube link was deleted because of innappropriately titled links shows a massive hypocrisy.


I think some those photos are quite pornographic at times, they're depicting women in a totally sexualized way. I don't complain because I don't give a shit and I'm not a prude, but i don't see the fucking difference

I must say, it is pretty much complete bullshit that I got banned over it.

It was an honest mistake, and I had no idea I would be PUNISHED for something I had no control over. But fine, lesson learned. Don't post anything that might include links to other things! Of course, it wouldn't even be an issue if we were allowed to embed videos.

I honestly wish Night Strike could be arbitrarily banned for 24 hours, or better yet, a few days. Let him see what heavy handed judgments feel like, both as a condemnation of a person's character, and as a completely heavy handed method for dealing with things.

I even PMed a mod when I first posted that thing, saying to be sure to check the link before overreacting. The mods know I am responsive and cooperative. They didn't have to take punitive measures.

This is why people don't bother renewing. What's the point? Even an obviously harmless joke has to become a big federal issue, instead of quietly taking it down and letting it fade into the ether of forum memory. Nope, instead it has to become a big deal.

Seriously, it feels like they were LOOKING for a reason to act punitively in this case because of the completely ancillary nature of the objectionable content.

Plus, this site is so arbitrary in its rules enforcement. I could swallow these harsh pills if they would just ENFORCE THE RULES FOR EVERYONE, not just their little clique of insiders.

Plus, when you reach out to these megalomaniacs, they don't even RESPOND. You try to open a private dialogue with the punitive mods, what do you get? Silence.

You wouldn't get a driving licence if you are blind.

Also the links in the page that dave posted did not lead to porn, or nudity. As its not ALLOWED on Youtube.
