The Highest Tree
A weekly report on CC mafia containing a description of all active games.

Picture yourself, living in a small town, with lots of friendly neighbors, when suddenly one of them dies. There are rumors that the mafia has to do with it, and you, the local cop, plan to investigate it. All the villagers of the town are out for blood, but you are trying to see this logicaly. You figure that everyone should settle down and you'll just investigate peopple that night, but there is a catch. Nobody knows you are a cop, and they all think you are a mafia member. When you try to tell them to settle down, they start yelling to lynch you! You claim that you are a cop, but someone else claims that they are too, causeing mass hysteria. Eventualy you get strung up from the highest tree in town, and in the end, the mafia lives another day and can kill more people that night.
This is an experience I had while playing the thrilling mind game, mafia, located right here in our forums. It is a role playing game where you need to outsmart the mafia, or trick the town. There area currently 4 games going on, with several more waithing for you to sign up.

I actually like this - particularly the mafia part. Good job captainwalrus. :D Make sure you keep regular updates about it :)

As for the other parts - make sure you really impress the ideas of them. As in, make them better. I only really cared about the mafia part but I guess that's just me.

Also - The Weekly Poller? Personally, I don't understand why you'd have a weekly poller.

You should list how many pages/posts there are in the Longest Threads. That was good though :)

.44

For the Longest Threads part, consider reporting on the change over time---since the last newsletter. "Longest Thread +24," "Spamalot +12," etc. Then you can see which are growing more. :)

And I feel like you are missing some key things about the Off Topics forum---namely something about conspiracies, politics, debating...etc.

Does anyone have anything they would like to see in the newsletter? Next time we will probably have an interview, which will be funny.

Will this be "published" publically or do you have to subscribe? What's the subscription good for anyway?
