Getting ready to head to a family reunion this weekend. Last week, it was my cousin's wedding (odd seeing her in a dress, she's a farm girl and is rarely out of a t-shirt and jeans), and then about killed myself (along with some family that visited) re-doing my grandmother's back porch. Originally done in redwood in about 1988-1989, a lot of the wood was rotted or just not worth keeping, so we re-did the entre thing in trex in about 3 days. Looks nice, but damn.

The curlette is off to Summer Camp this weekend, for six weeks. She is looking forward to it, except for the food. Being a veggie is NOT well catered for, and she's already fed up with eggplant parmegano, and she hasn't got there yet.
