Bullying angers me.
I thought it would be self-explanatory... considering it's a video of some kid getting his ass kicked and no one helping him. Did I assume too much?

Those were my first thoughts on seeing the video, but I snorri's question made me wonder if there was something deeper. Maybe we are just getting cynical from all the posts here. It is hard to think any post should be taken just at surface value.

Wow that kid was a minority.
Buuuut, my dad always told me if I ever was bullied just to beat his face into the dirt. Sure as shit worked, i was left alone for the rest of my elementry/middle/high school life. (Three seperate fights)
Yay for violence! Boo on the retards that feel the need to pick on others to make them selves feel better.

Hmm... that's interesting player. I didn't think of it like that.
On a personal note, I was not really bullied in school. I was a gigantic nerd who happened to play football. I was 6'1" by sophomore year in high school and weighed in at about 200 pounds, so I had that going for me. That being said, I was friends with a lot of nerds who were regularly picked on. I was involved in numerous fights because of that. To me, verbal bullying is horrible, but physical bullying like that shown in the video is infinitely worse. First of all, the guy didn't do anything provocative and didn't fight back. For someone to punch him in the face and head for almost 30 seconds is despicable, and particularly despicable to me. It's one thing to get into an even, provoked fight, it's another thing to simply wail on someone because you didn't want him to sit with you. What's just as disgusting is the complete lack of help anyone provides to this poor kid. I would have been at the back of the bus laying about with fists if that had happened in my high school (and it did).
So, maybe there's something deeper there with me, I don't know. I just know that any time I see something like this, I get incredibly angry. There is a movie called "Kids" that was released sometime in the mid-90s. I saw it about 5 times with friends. Apart from being a horrific take on kids generally, there is a scene when 5 or 6 kids beat the crap out of another kid. When that scene came up, I had to leave the room. Again, probably some psychological issues there. I don't know.

Yo, I saw the "I have no legs" guy in real life on the subway in the mid to late 90s. I didn't say anything, because I was sure he got that all the time, but I had a really hard time not staring.
Poor guy.

I'm surprised that guy didn't get some kind of nice setup from that movie. Sad.

Were you born stupid? Or did you run into enough trees to make you that way?

Really?
Anyhow, pay close attention to this video.
This is what happens when wolves meet sheep.

Wolves and sheep, eh? I believe in about 10 to 15 years, the victim here will be a wolf and the perpetrators sheep. At least, that has been my experience with high school bullying. For a synopsis, I refer you to the end of Can't Hardly Wait.

No, this is what happens when a situational tough guy who, usually after some sort of semi-traumatic childhood, has violent tendencies meets a normal person that
isn't a cocksucker hated by rational people. Unless those are your current definitions.

Umm..yes?
Also worth noting is that your scenario is built on fiction

It's much more ground based than your ridiculous sheep wolf white knight theory.

It's not my theory.
It is right though. It just doesn't get all touchy feely for the perpetrators of unprovoked violence.
This has a tendency to offend liberals.

Exactly!
But I think the real crimal here was the bus driver. I can understand possibly not stopping immediately in traffic, depending on conditions. However, to not at least say something says this is a guy who was not doing his job.

If you seriously believe that, then you know almost nothing about how kids operate or why they do things or what really happens when they grow up.
Rambo is not reality.

Don't hate me but... that kid should have fought back.
I like fighters and I can't stand people who let themselves get trampled by assholes like that guy. Although more of the blame goes to the bully himself, his parents, and the bus driver. IMO if the kid had fought back, he would have been completely justified. Even if he lost the fight, the bully wouldn't come back for more if the kid threw a punch at him. People like bullies prey on the weak, not the fighters.

I don't disagree, but I put no blame on the kid.

Seeing as I don't know the kids I can't say anythign about whether he should've fought back or not. I know some dudes who I never would fight back to and for good reason. They wouldn't think twice about stabbing me, in fact they wouldn't think once. They're fucked up on drugs a lot fo the time and crazy like shit.

You should train at Vos Gym, then you wouldn't have to worry about such things.
I totally would train at Vos Gym if I lived in Holland.

Not necessarily true.
Plenty of people like to fight. If you hit them back that's exactly what they want.
