That is same link I have been looking at and not sure why it doesn't show updated version. I will post updated scores later today if jytreberg doesn't beat me to it.

Hey all, sorry for the lack of updating the standings on the spreadsheet. I was on vacation with the family in mid-April and then work got super busy as soon as I got back for a few weeks. The latest standings are available at the link here (https://1drv.ms/x/s!Ao-FVDQUhqW7gcgDE5vfArDMobo4-A) and I have included the current standings for seeding into the next round as an image in this post. From the looks of things, Ohio State has the number one overall seed pretty well wrapped up unless Maryland can pull out a bunch of wins in round 4. Maryland is behind by 80 points and has 130 potential points remaining in active games...so there is a chance!

On the bottom of the spectrum, my Orange have been all but eliminated along with N.C. State. Grand Valley and TCU are within striking distance of that 16th seed and still have a chance at making it into the dance. Of course, they would have to face off against Ohio State or Maryland in round one, so I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. :D

Even if my team doesn't make it into the bracket, I'm looking forward to keep track of the tournament the rest of the way to see who comes out on top!

So, as soon as I mentioned about Ohio State having the top seed wrapped up, Maryland comes storming back with another doubles and triples win to pull within 30 points of the top seed. Oregon also grabs a doubles win to move ahead of South Carolina into the #3 seed spot. We have two close races near the top of the seeding with Kentucky still having an outside chance of jumping into the top four seeds.

If Princeton advances (which I believe is unlikely), we may need to replace a player.

Here are the updated standings following the weekend's results. Maryland has closed the gap with Ohio State considerably and still vying for that number one overall seed. Syracuse and N.C. State are not mathematically eliminated yet, but close to being so. I will try to update daily going forward through the rest of Stage 2, at least during the week.

No change in the standings today. South Carolina did win one more doubles match bringing their score to 460 as did Kentucky, bringing their score to 450.

Good morning Conquer Madness teams! It's coming down to the wire with only 35 games remaining. All round 3 games have finished so only round 4 remains.

Here are today's seeding updates:

#1 & #2 Seed-Ohio State still has a 10 point lead over Maryland. Based on territory counts in Maryland's two remaining game, they will split with TCU, which would give them a 20 point edge over Ohio State. However, Ohio State is locked in a 4 game battle with Pitt. Three games are still to be decided, but one doubles game is pretty well in hand for Ohio State, which would tie them with Maryland for points. I believe the edge would then go to Ohio State with a better win percentage and if Ohio State wins two or more of their remaining games, they will lock up the #1 seed, leaving Maryland in #2.

#3-#5 Seeds-Oregon and Kentucky are still fighting for the top spot in the Doodle Earth Conference and have a strong lead in both of their remaining games. Oregon has one of their remaining games pretty well tied up which will give them the cushion they need to hold off Kentucky, leaving Kentucky in the #5 spot. In the Feudal War conference, South Carolina is looking to win at least two of their remaining games giving them a slight edge over Oregon for the #3 seed. The battle for 3 & 4 will come down to the last few games!

#6-#12-There is a big log jam here from 6-12 and this is where we could see the most change as the last few games finish up. Michigan State only has one game remaining so they will finish no higher than the 6 spot. They should be able to hold off UNLV in conference so they are locked into somewhere between 6-8. Illinois has a bunch of games remaining to finish so they could move up within the 2 seeds to either 5 or 6 and while Duke has fewer games left, they too could move up a spot or two once all is said and done. With one more win, UNLV, Pitt, or Kansas will move ahead of Notre Dame who cannot move up as they are already done with all games. Unfortunately for the Irish, they can only drop at this point. (Kind of feels like real life football this past season since they don't have a conference championship game, but we're talking basketball here so...nevermind)

Out of the dance-While technically still in play by the math, Syracuse is at a huge territory disadvantage in two our of three remaining games, meaning they are out of the tournament. N.C. State still has 8 games remaining and based on current territory counts, stands a decent chance of winning at least 90-110 points with those games. Whether or not that will be enough to push past Princeton in conference and others like Grand Valley or TCU at large, remains to be seen. Missouri and Princeton may also win a few of their remaining games, but may not be enough to jump the other teams in the 13-16 seed range.

Stay tuned for more tomorrow as more games wrap up and the tournament picture becomes clearer.

Good morning folks, it's time for your daily Conquer Madness update. We had four more games finish up since yesterday's update.

Michigan State won their final game of the round, defeating Kansas and guaranteeing no less than a #8 seed going into Stage 3.
UNLV notched another win against South Carolina, putting the pressure on the Gamecocks to grab a few more wins in their remaining games.
Ohio State picked up another win pulling ahead of Maryland for that top spot.
Grand Valley State defeated Duke to strengthen their position as an at large bid to the dance.

Only 31 games to go!

It's the last update for the week and everything remains pretty steady at the top of the standings. There were no changes in seedings from 1-12.

Princeton notched two wins against N.C. State yesterday, jumping up to the 13 seed and pushing TCU out of the dance for the moment. TCU does look to win one of their two remaining games which would bump them back over Northern Illinois and Grand Valley, depending on outcomes of those teams' games. With the two losses, N.C. State's chances of making the dance are dwindling quickly. Also, with the jump by Princeton, they have eliminated Syracuse from advancing to Stage 3.

Ohio State has locked up the #1 seed for the final Stage of the tournament!

Maryland will lock up the #2 seed with one more win while Oregon and South Carolina are still fighting it out to determine who will end up in 3rd and 4th. Oregon notched two wins over the weekend, giving them a sizable advantage for the #3 spot.

Elsewhere, Princeton continues to move up the ranks, only needing one more triples win to knock Illinois from the second group down into the at large bids. Kentucky tried to claim the top spot in the Doodle Earth Conference form Oregon, but came up just a little short.

Five teams have completed all their games and eight additional teams only have one or two games remaining to complete.

Ohio State continued to make a statement, winning their final game and extending their hold on the #1 seed last night. Princeton also continued their run up the board, defeating Illinois and jumping up to the #7 spot. With only one game left to complete, they won't be able to get any higher than that, but have made a good run these last few days.

Kentucky it locked into the #5 seed. The only thing now is to sort out who some of the opponents will be as we head into Stage 3.

Only one game finished since yesterday's update so I'm not doing a full recap today. Duke defeated Grand Valley State and is now tied in the middle group withe Princeton.

Elaterate notified me of a few errors in the standings that I sorted through this morning so these standings are correct. The change came in Notre Dame losing 30 points, Pitt gaining 20 points and Grand Valley losing 20 points. Apologies to those teams that had a different thought of where they stood. Ironically, all three of those teams are now grouped in the 12-14 slots and look like they are all strong to make it into the final Stage.

There are 14 games remaining and it looks like a number of them will be finishing up in the next few days. There will likely be a great deal of clarity around what the final seeds are once we come out of the long holiday weekend. That said, I will likely not be able to provide a normal update on Monday with the holiday (here in the US) and will provide an update on Tuesday next week.
