The CCSL is on HOLD for 2 Months. Forum is for input for Players in the Super League ONLY to discuss. In the mean time. Keep an eye on the 'LIVE' Scoreboards.

I'm not sure the full picture of what all is going on even after being in the thread where some of the arguing was happening, but I gotta say that I will really miss the CCSL over the next two months and have been having a blast with it as a rookie.

As someone who's had to moderate fights in other communities (and generally tried pretty hard to do my best though I know I've fallen short too), mods are sometimes gonna try to reasons to tell each side of a fight they've gone too far even when one or both sides have a valid point because their priority is bringing the fight to an end and trying to get one/both sides to back down - but also, it's hard for even a well-intentioned, involved moderator to know all the context in both sides' heads. I hope you don't let fights with users outside the CCSL (and any external attempts to pressure those fights to end) to interfere with the spirit of an amazing league that keeps this community strong. Just look at how much players both new and old love it!

I really appreciate the efforts that Craig and others put into superleague.
I also enjoy the football banter that Craig injects - even though/especially as I'm one of the auld enemy!

It would be a shame if it stopped.
We are all free to opt out of it if it becomes onerous gameload wise, or just not particularly into it any more.

Would like it and the friendly banter to continue.

I have raised this matter with CC's top brass, I will be devastated if this doesn't get resolved.

Hey Keef, in response to the vile, putrid comments from the Clan Leader in question. I responded with 'He was a Sick Puppy' and 'He was a bit of a Dick'.

CC used my 2 RESPONSES as part of his justification for saying it.

You know more than most the level of shit I have had to put up with. and this is now beyond the pale. I have asked them to review their decision.

Brutal. CCSL has been the highlight of my return to CC. i was an active member many years ago, then gave it up for years. i likely would not have stayed if I didn't find the CCSL after an invite from Craig25 after we randomly came across each other. really hope this gets sorted out whatever is going on.

Hey M8, that is very kind. Thank you. As the persons comments were on someone's death and his claims that I had shown a lack of respect. It immediately brought my thoughts to my own Family members passing. The Super League will now always be linked to that. The fact that CC proposed to do very little about the Sick Comments. There is no way the League was going to continue.

Without CCSL the fun will be greatly diminished for me. I don't think that CC without the SL will be very interesting or challenging. I will have to decide if the new CC (to me) will be worth my time or if there is some better source of an equal challenge.

What in the world could cause a dispute of this magnitude is beyond me.

no idea whats been going on but it must take alot of effort to run CCSL and for that I thank Craig and the team.
If someone is abusing others then mods should kick them out and block all access to sending messages to others here.
whatever has happened it should be an easy fix for mods to read through the messages, see who has instigated it and remove them. and if someone sends me a message i dont like i just block them and ignore it.

Life is way to short guys for BS, you realise this pretty damn quickly when the doc gives you a few months. I love this game, hope it gets sorted out asap.

I’ve been an active member here for 15 years, and I’m in my second season of CCSL and absolutely loving it! Craig is a lot of fun and I appreciate all of the work he and others do to make this tourney happen! Is Craig perfect? No! Is he brutally honest and completely tactless in acknowledging or calling out excellent or horrible play? Yes! If you don’t like it, don’t join the tourney. Please, everyone involved in this conflict let cooler heads prevail so that some 300 of us who enjoy this tourney can get back to the business of scudding each other be they friends, enemies or newbies! Thanks again to Craig and team for the massive amount of work you have done and hopefully will continue doing in the near future to run CCSL. All the best to everyone! ender_w99
