NEW: 2025 NFL Season (7 of 32 teams)

RULES
This is a 1 vs. 1 singles tournament that will follow the NFL football season. 32 teams and we will follow the NFL season and playoff format. Tournament is open to freebies and premium players, I just ask that freebies keep pace with play … 5 maps each week.
GAME PLAY
All games are SEQUENTIAL and NO POLY ... other than that all settings are accepted…and all maps are in play.
A 20-round cap will be in place for all maps.
PRIZES
TBA
Games are scored based on a five-map showdown.
First quarter — home-field settings chosen by player
Second quarter — home-field settings chosen by player
*Third quarter — a Geographic map with some relation to the home city.
*Fourth quarter — a Geographic map with some relation to the home city.
*Special teams — random map
* These maps will be escalating, chained, foggy
SCORING
A scoring formula (see below) will reward players for quick victories.
Note: the special teams map has its own scoring system.
Total points will be used to determine the official winner — it will be possible for a team to win just 2 of the 5 maps and still come out in front. Although winning 3 of 5 maps will often land you a victory.

• In the case of overtime...
During the regular season...
Hold an advantage of 3 cards or fewer and the game is deemed a tie*
Hold an advantage of 4-5 cards and you earn a winning field goal.
Hold an advantage of 6+ cards and you earn a winning touchdown.
During the playoffs
* If the tie option is the result, a random map will decide the overtime point.
(Win in 8 or less rounds for a winning TD…win in 9-15 rounds to get a winning FG)
If the game goes 16+ rounds then it stays tied and we'll play another overtime map.
