The final regular season ladder is posted...congrats to shoop76 and his DC United for winning the Supporter's Shield (most points in regular season).

Playoff matches are active. We have LAFC and Vancouver in overtime in Game 1 of the first round.

Here's a reminder of protocol for OT (no ties in the playoffs).

* in the case of a tie an additional overtime map will be sent.
If the game remains tied additional OT maps will be sent until the tie is broken.

OT maps cycle — home team map, geographic home map, random map, World Cup map.

We've got upset alert activated with New York City taking Game 1 against Supporter's Shield winner DC United in the East.

Vancouver and LAFC onto their second overtime match in as many games.

And Philadelphia is the first team to move into the quarterfinals.

Seattle and Vancouver have advanced to the quarterfinals
And Kansas City and Salt Lake City are headed to a game 3.
Meanwhile, New York City and DC United are headed to a Game 3

Both #1 seeds are in jeopardy in round one.

Congrats to kongming3 and the Seattle Sounders on being the first team to advance to the MLS semifinals.

And in the East, we have New England and DC United in overtime. Exciting stuff.

And Philadelphia gets through to the Eastern Final with a 2-1 win over Nashville.

All teams are into the quarterfinals now.

DC United moves onto the Eastern Final after beating New England 2-1 in overtime.

That makes the top two seeds advancing to the Eastern title match.

Congrats to shoop76 on reaching the MLS Championship match. The DC United will be hosting the final based on having the top record in the regular season.
