Kermit the Frog and Scooter are the early leaders in the Muppet party, while Bert and Ernie have a big lead over on the Sesame Street side.

I'm just about caught up on tabulating past results and we should be getting new maps out tomorrow night.

Only 5 states complete, so still plenty of the country to campaign across. Good luck, all

Is there a win by default if someone fails to join the game after they've been invited 3 times?

Just a quick look at some of the early races, before I dive in and compile some of the latest results.

In the Muppet Party race ... Kermit and Scooter claimed three of the first six states, but Animal and Beaker are right in the mix thanks to some powerful early speeches from overlander to win a couple Southern states. Every campaign can lay claim to at least one state early in the Muppet votes.

In the Sesame Street race ... Bert & Ernie are building a big early lead after making it a clean sweep of the first three states in the primaries and adding another win in Alabama. The dynamic duo was close to gaining a fifth state in Arkansas, but Odeuminus squeaked out the state for Cookie Monster and Count von Count by a little more than 1,000 votes in the closest race of the primaries to this point.

I'll work on updating the maps over the weekend.

Animal and Beaker have charged into the lead on the Muppet side after a blitz of wins in the Northeast and in Minnesota where vykingsfan64 came almost 17 points ahead of his nearest challenger.

The campaign has a sizeable edge in delegates at the moment, but has fallen flat in California. The votes in the first super state have not been counted yet, but that should even the field in the Muppet race. In the popular vote Animal is just 0.05% ahead of Kermit the Frog.

The Sesame race remains tight with a lot of state's nearing completion, so expect a rush of votes to go official in the coming days. Bert & Ernie remain in the lead with 156 delegates, but Cookie Monster is leading the popular vote early on in the Sesame Street race.

Animal is widening the gap in the Muppets race after recent wins in Oklahoma and Minnesota.

The next batch of states have gone out.

Welcome Darin44 to the Kermit & Scooter campaign and mackadoo to the Elmo and Oscar the Grouch campaign.

I'll work on the maps tonight, but here's an update, including overall campaign leaders (top-10)...overlander leads that charge as the only one with more than 1 million votes gathered so far and a tourney best 149 delegates for the Animal & Beaker campaign.

Animal & Beaker continue to hold a big lead in Muppet delegates, but Grover is expected to close that gap or possibly move ahead once the California vote goes official.

Cookie Monster has charged in front in the Sesame Street race with 243 delegates, while Bert & Ernie have won the most states on that side with five.

Bert & Ernie make a big jump to the top of the Sesame Street race after winning California ... the first super state of the primaries.

I feel like I need to kick it up on notch on this tourney, but thanks.

Closing out a few other tourneys here soon, so that should open up some time.

I'll work on updating the maps over the weekend, but Kermit has surged to the top of the Muppet Race after an impressive performance in California.

I don’t understand the delegations. If master chief have 152 and are 2nd and I have 122 and 5th, but we have 523 as a team (2nd) then that means ode has 249 and would be first?

Sorry, the tabulations are a bit confusing.

The individual leader board does not factor in the large sum of delegates scored in the Super States, so for now you would also have to factor in what your team brought in for California.
