3 games per team, 6 total, it's all your games for the entire Championship
Maps can be changed before start of the RR and before start of playoffs

Ok I will clarifiy.
You can use any 5 maps you like, there is no limit on maps (need to remove the beta maps).
e.g. you can have all 5 maps to be played on classic map or on 5 different maps
Before the playoff starts you need to post here in thread any change to maps you like.
Also before each set if you want to change players (home and away set) in particular teams (due to absence, vacation, or whatever reason) you can do so.

If the teams that come to playoffs would come to consensus to use different maps on each game on every set I am willing to make it so.
We can talk about it before the start of playoffs.
My idea is to have a home set of maps to be used repeatedly.

benga wrote:
shoop76 wrote:Do we need to use same dubs, trips and quads teams for home and away?

no, they can be changed if posted prior to round start
I will have schedule so you will just need to be on alert

benga wrote:
Donelladan wrote:Is it ok to sign up with 6 players but not using all 6 in the home games ?

yes, this was the aim of making teams of 6
but don't forget the minimum games that one needs for medal

benga wrote:
swimmerdude99 wrote:
When you say that team can use two substitutions before the start on the Bracket phase, are you referring to being able to swap out two players? Or talking about map selections?

From other replies, it seems you can change maps/settings as often as you want, and swap players per game as often as you want. So I'm assuming it is meant that prior to the bracket phase you could swap 2 players in your team. How does this apply for teams of 4 or 5 compared to teams of 6?

Eg, if I have 4 players to start, and I add two more, is that my substitutions?

Yes this can also be done, but those 2 should not have been playing for other teams.

benga wrote:
iAmCaffeine wrote:Okay so in the same match I could have me, jack and cheffed in the home triples, but jack, andrei and john in the other?

Sorry to keep asking, but it seems like you're saying I can switch the teams before each round, but not clarifying whether I can have different teams in both triples games in that same round.

yes you can use different people, for same type of games, e.g. doubs, trips, quads
also note you only need 4 people per round, so 5th and 6th player can sit out a round if they are on vacation or whatever reason may be

benga wrote:
josko.ri wrote:How big will be game load per a team? 6 Games per a time in RR, and 10 in Bracket phase?

6 and 5

benga wrote:
iAmCaffeine wrote:[
From my understanding, the teams we put forward each round can be mixed about amongst those 5 players, as can the maps.

For away games, as an example, does the triples team have to be the same for all triples games?

Teams can be, but maps not. This is your home set and you stick with it for the round robin phase. Then before start of bracket phase you will have another chance to pick maps.

So yes you can switch teams before each round start by posting here in thread.

mdhill wrote:Benga,

Excited about this. Your clarification to Caff left me with a further clarification needed, though. Can we move players between settings (quads/trips/dubs) on home and away?

For example, would this be legal?

Round 1 of round robin:

Home:
Type Players
Quad ABCD
Trips EFA
Dubs BC

Away:
Quad EFAB
Trips CDE
Dubs FAB

Round 2 of round robin:

Home:
Quad CDEF
Trips ABC
Dubs DE

Thanks,
mdhill

Yes, that's possible.

For those teams that want as less work as possible I will use their initial player placement.
For other teams that want to rotate players they have a opportunity to do so as they please.
BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE IT HERE IN THREAD BEFORE EACH ROUND.
Just stressing this so no confusion later.

Do we always play the same home maps, even when there will be 1 doubles, 2 triples, 2 quads games (5 games on 3 maps, is it better than 5 games on 5 maps?) and even when there will be 3 or more home sets? Isn't it better to have new home maps for each home set in the bracket phase?

I think it is better to have different maps in each set in playoff. Who would enjoy to play 5 sets on the same maps in finals.

Different sets add diversity and skill required to win.

This is foremost open to all players, but as I said I am willing to change if teams agree.
