It's called Quadratic because it's a point-building tournament, though I'll be the one sorting out all the numbers...
In each round you'll play a combination of Singles, Doubles and Quads on each map (further details below), with each game being worth a certain amount of points to contribute to your team score. The number of teams will gradually get knocked down from 16 to just 2 in the Final Round.

All games will be:
All groups, opponents and team-mates will be assigned using random.org. (Of course your team-mates will only be other players in your team.)
Points from each round will be carried over to the next round, but the number of points available in each round increases.
The maps generally get harder as more and more teams get knocked out, with maps like USA and Canada near the beginning of the tournament, and maps like Poison Rome and Waterloo near the end.
