CC Couples - Round 1 Part 2 [Needing Rescued]
Posted: Sun Nov 18, 2012 9:19 pm
Update: Any invites not accepted within 48 hours will count as a loss for your team.
CC Couples Tournament - run by Ahava and leyla
You must sign up with a male and female on each team. (Please specify in either your post, or a PM to me who is male/female on each team)
The tournament will be similar to a round robin, but it will go multiple rounds.
We will take as many couples as want to sign up (at least 8). Signups will end on December 1, unless there aren't enough couples signed up by then. Signups will close Sunday, Dec 2 at 8am EST when I update the tourney thread. Signups are closed, we have 12 couples signed up. :)
No freemiums because of gameload.
List your partner and your top 3 home maps with settings.
Any settings are allowed, with the exception of the following:
NO manual deploy
NO freestyle
NO unlimited forts
All games will be 24 hour casual games.
Please specify if you would like a round limit or trench on any of your maps.
Any maps not specified by the time I start sending out game invites will be Random map, auto, seq, esc, chained, fog, no trench, no round limit.
Each round you will play a different home game, one away game, and one Classic game with the default CC settings against every team. The finals will be best of 7; 3 home, 3 away, Classic.
Couples advance to the next round based on the number of best-of-threes you win together. The couples with the most best-of-three wins will advance to the next round, until there are only 2 couples left in the finals. There will only be 3 rounds, plus the finals, so only the top 8 couples will advance to round 2, regardless of how many couples enter. If there is a tie for couples advancing to the next round, the tied couples will play in ONE tie-breaker game on Classic, using standard settings. If there are 2-4 couples that tie, they will all play in ONE tie-breaker game, with the winning couple advancing. If there are 2 spots open for couples to advance to, there will be a second tie-breaker between the couples that lost in the first tie-tiebreaker.
This link is where you can find the list of games, each team's wins/losses, and the schedule for when the next set of invites will be sent out.
Any questions, feel free to send either me or leyla a PM :)
