Are the Royals still open? If so, can I have them and US Civil War?

Alright, we are full. Fuzzy Pengui, Marfski, and Vikermac wound up just outside as reserves. Once I finalize a couple maps we'll get this show started. :)

Do you want us to post results or not? Actually, the question is - will it help you?

I'll post for now, if you don't use it then I will stop posting :P

Alright, we've got some games finished, so I've updated the standings. Looks like there are several teams with no games completed though, so I'm going to wait to calculate "Games Back" until everyone has something in the win or loss column.

New games for this week tonight or tomorrow.

FYI-
I see you have me (Oklahoma) 0-4 vs Nashville but should be 0-3 with 1 game waiting to be made up.

You are 0-3 against Nashville, and 1-2 against Memphis so far. Hence your record is 1-5. I didn't forget the messed up game. ;)

It stands for "Games Back" from first place in your division.

And, vykingsfan64, it was a mess up in your memphis games, I had you at 1-2, when you were actually 2-1. I've fixed it in my records already, and it will be reflected in the next standings update. :)

Hi optimus.

A few questions, first when will there be a table update and do you need to be notified of game wins/outcomes when they are done or do you do that yourself?

Also I am concerned that a player here has "bamboo jack" as the home map.
I was not granted right to play "Battle of Actium" for my home map becuase it was not a straightforward map to follow, and from the looks of bamboo jack it looks hard to play and from what i heard is confusing for first time players.
It is the same with Battle of Actium, it seems confusing but once you can play then it is rather simple.

However I personally don't think it is fair that I can't play Battle of Actium because it is not an easy, straightforward map but Bamboo Jack is granted.

Could i get some feedback on this please?

Thanks, Me-Da-MiNoRiTY

New games are now out to all players. It looks like the Saturday/Sunday plan isn't going to work so well. So, instead, I'll just send you games whenever I feel like we are ready for more. :P

Me-Da-MiNoRiTY,

I said that I wanted only maps with standard gameplay features, and no gimmicks. Bamboo Jack has no gimmick gameplay, simply continent bonuses, and attacking. Battle of Actium contains bombardment, which is considered a gameplay gimmick.

note on Bamboo Jack as I believe the map has an error on the directions.

The 2 gaurd stations can attack anyone inside the station, the railway or a regular territory outside of the station. The Railway can only attack the gaurds or territories next to the station. I believe the directions on the map have the railway station and gaurd stations mixed up. In other words the only way in and out is through the gaurds and you don't have to go through the railway square

Other than this it is a pretty straight forward map

Yes that is a very true fact. Also the only bombarding features on Battle of Actium are that larger ships can only bombard adjacent larger ships and not conquer them, other than that it is a simple map.

And seeing as there are 6 ships (all paired in 2's) then i would see this to be a very small feature comparing with bamboo jacks stations and with the gaurds being able to bombard all inhabitants of the station or whatever it is.

When i hear the phrase "straight forward maps" i think about a map that has bonusus and territories. No little side drop downs of terts or bombarding features just your stnadard map, alot like classic. I really don't think that it is fair that Bamboo jack can be played =\
