Click on the name of the Objective... this functionality is available throughout the data - click on stuff and you will be taken to the Map and shown the contents/territory/player etc.

C.

Are you saying that I have to hover/click on each element of an objective separately? I just don't see anything in BOB to do with the objective other than the objective summary. What I'm missing is someplace where I can click/hover and visualize the objective.

Click the name of the Objective...

C.

Apologies - I've just checked this - and this doesn't seem to work... well it doesn't on Oasis anyway...

I'll add it to the list of stuff to do!

C.
Thanks, and thanks. I thought I must have been some kind of idiot for not seeing where to click. It would really be great if the objective showed up in the Continents Overview.

Maybe make it so you can see how many points you will lose or receive in the game if you win or lose?

Discussed before - can't be done with the current data on the screen.

Anyway to tell if players in your game are online? (Without having to click each profile?).

Snapshots

Postby homes32 on Mon Mar 23, 2009 2:40 pm

how about being able to give snapshots a custom name. perhaps showing a prompt filled in with the current/auto-generated name and allowing us to change it. I don't really think it is necessary to be able to change the name after they are created, just on creation.

possible for all areas of a certain bonus to be highlighted when you scroll over the bonus key? sorry if that is confusing... didnt know how else to word it. i know its pretty self explanatory on most maps, but can be useful on unusual maps i.e prison riot, waterloo etc.

yes i know im just being lazy. but isnt everyone who uses BoB?

just to give an example if i wasnt clear...

*you scroll mouse over "New Fish" on Prison Riot map. all "New Fish" areas would be highlighted, and so on and so forth...

EDIT: just noticed this was already discussed. sorry.

Yeah - can't be done without manually programming the co-ordinates...

However - the "Continents overview" provides this.

Unfortunately I think I was having some problems with BOB.

I had it set so Auto BOB was off and for some reason I was only able to do 1 click on anything when I was in a game.
I could hit begin but then I would have to refresh my page in order to be able to deploy and so on.
This was occurring even if I had turned BOB on manually.
Once I turned BOB's settings back to Auto BOB: On, everything went back to normal.

Not sure if this has been discussed or not but I figured I would put it out there.

sorry if this has been brought up before -- 111 pages in this thread...

How about an upgrade where we can sort the list of players(top to bottom) by categories (troops, reigons, strength, ect..)
shouldn't be too hard

yeti, I was wondering if it would be a lot of work to add the calculated number of neutral territories to the stats table?

I'm having an issue with BOB 4.7.1 not calculating the "Last Bonus" under Statistics. I'm running Firefox 3.0.10. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I have the same. I think it has something to do with the update in the log with the different text for ending your turn.
In New World with Fog also the number of territories is not listed correct.

Yeti,

I don't know if this has been suggested yet or not but it would be nice if there was an option to disable BOB (or the log processing portion) for individual games. I am involved in the two longest running stalemates (Game 207959 and Game 230616) and it takes a really long time for BOB to process the log for those games.

An alternative would be to be have the option to disable the missed turns tracker (which is all that should be harvested from a log search of a non-escalating game, covering the vast majority of all the long-running stalemates).

Just my $0.02

Yep - it appears that Lack has changed a number of the wordings involved with the Script parsing...

This will no doubt cause a number of issues...

I'll see if I can get these fixed in the next few days.

I did code up "auto BOB" - but I actually put a bug in it - if you have this as OFF...

I need to fix that at some point - but yes - there are other methods that do this.

Note that the missed turns tracker isn't just what is used in the log parsing... there are many things such as territory coutns (FOW only) Eliminations (although these could be retrieved elsewhere now) and the card turn in (which is also now on screen)

Hopefully the API can be improved in the future to stop log parsing except for FOW games.

It can be done for individual games if you add in an exclusion for that game in the Greasemonkey Manage User Scripts , such as (replace the ####### with the game of the one you want BOB to be excluded from)
Code: Select all
http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=#######&full_log=Y

add in an exception as (Note the * on the end)
Code: Select all
http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=#######*
