Don't take it so personally - I took it more as joking than an actual swipe at you. 4 top clans (or 3 top clans and 1 poser clan, depending on whose list you go by) are busy right now with Conq Cup, IA/TSM are taking it easy, plenty of other clans are already in wars, so you don't have a lot of options at this point anyway.

Well honestly, it could most accurately be characterized as a "joking swipe".

Now who are you calling posers?! :P

I'm not the one who considers any of those final 4 posers, just paraphrasing Blitzy.

If you take the entire article, it's obvious it's not a cheap shot at all.

This part makes it obvious:

Soldiers of War are also ready to step right back into action already lining up their next opponent in the form of Empire. They certainly will have their work cut out for them against one of the top clans on the site but they are well aware of what lies ahead and are hoping to learn from the experience.

That this part is satire:
Empire's Toughest Challenge Yet!
After a recent defeat to KoRT in the Conquer Cup, The Empire (Power Rankings: 7th, RPI: 8th) refuses to slow down their pace, and have joined battle with the undisputed champions of the.... Have engaged in a thrilling onslaught of war with the entirely successful....
Have closed their eyes, and pinned the tail on the Soldiers of War (Power Rankings: 29th, RPI: 28th) In what will assuredly be the most difficult, uphill battle The Empire have ever faced.
While their chances at winning the much sought after cup have been swept away, the much sought after status of having defeated SoW is, in the eyes of The Empire, a glory filled and distinguished prize of its own.

Which means, he was praising Empire without dogging SoW. Whassa matta, Empire can't take a little friendly praise-ribbing?

Wait, what? No, that's not right. He was satirically calling SoW one of the top clans on the siteā€¦
