I'm going to be hated for this but... I think the mountains really don't match the map at all. They look pencil drawn black and white and the rest of the map is this awesome watercolor. Consider swapping them out for something else? Or you could totally reject the suggestion because its so far into Beta.

Is it too late to make a suggestion about that? I think the addition is good, but I think it's too easily defended. You should have it connect to Chancella. Just a suggestion, mate ;)

Yeah someone mentioned that earlier and here's the issue I take up with that. It makes the Arleus bonus almost impossible to expand from. As it is once you take Ashula you can still defend the bonus from 3 but at a greater range. Then take on Western Caprinthia and you have the same scenario. If that Island can attack Chancella then you'll pretty much always need to defend both Arleus and Chancella. It kind of makes it a pain to hold for a bonus that just doesn't seem worth it. That's how I feel any way.

Would this justify upping it to +3? I just feel that Solaria will be taken by one person and they'll hold it for the rest of the game, thus not making it much of an addition... I won't hardly get used unless you add an attack route. And heck, Ifnal has 4 territories and it's a +4 why can't Arleus have 3 territories and be +3?

Ifnal has 5 territories, Rolloland belongs to Ifnal.

Maybe.... but I doubt it. I don't feel like Solaria has to be an important territory, and while it's easy to hold I think that can be a good thing. The Solonabirsk bonus is a hard one to hold. Giving it an island that you can easily from there is a way of giving it a little more strategic value.

RELP RAGGY

where in the HELL is the 5th island...
I just played a 1vs1 on that map. BoB said the guy had the island bonus throughout. I see 4 islands, One had a neutral, I parkerd a 5 on one to stop his bonus. At my surprise he still got the bonus.. I searched the map all over and even asked him.

Where is the 5th island ??? nice map btw once I know where the islands are.

I think we've tested this long enough, am I right? Quench Time? (as well as the maps that were "beta'd" before this, except Cricket, as that seems to still have some issues)

Not yet - it;s not been long since the update which saw an additional territory added to the map.
