Okay, I can see them now. I did try it mere seconds after 18:00 CC time. Saw the countdown clock and everything else, but it's all good now. :D

great thanks, spotted it all; so is it just for the fastest and is it possible to get a medal for each map?

Yeah, does everyone who submits get a medal or just the fastest one? I can only spot 2 after 10 minutes of staring.

the changes aren't very subtle and are rather easy to spot.
but don't worry and take your time, EVERYBODY gets a medal if they find all differences. even if you find them in 2 minutes or 2 hours.

or at least that's what i understood from this:

I think groupings are all based on random order, via random.org.

which is actually rather silly because some maps are niche maps and no matter how great their gameplay or graphics are they'll never be as popular as a more classic map.

normally maps should be aranged in the game finder according to various customizable categories and based on those categories polls could be created much easier. but such categories were proposed 3-4 years ago and haven't been implemented yet so there's zero chance they ever will.

there were several attempts at keeping track of such stats but it never lasted.

here are some results from july
it's an average games per day rank. in other words total number of games divided by the number of days this map has existed.

you'll notice classic is by far the most played map, followed by doodle and luxemburg which are very popular for short 1-3 round games. surprisingly we can spot some non classic gameplay maps in the top 10)

This is a celebration of ALL 200 Maps which includes all of our current Beta Maps. These Polls are a snapshot of people's favourite maps at this point in time, of course Beta Maps are at a disadvantage since they may not have been perfected and/or played as much as the others. It is just a fun thing to do and i think you are taking it a bit too seriously to be honest, people are just telling us which maps they love the most in order to celebrate the diversity we have and i see no harm in that, if people find this fun we can do it annually and as we get feedback as to how we can run this better we will take everything onboard in order to improve for next time. So Traflagar will not be removed.

We decided the best way to group the maps was to do it randomly and give people a large amount of voting power (15 votes per category) so they can vote for a good amount of their favourite maps from all different options available, and i think we were pretty generous. Once again though i think you are taking it a bit too seriously, after all there is always going to be some complaints no matter how we grouped the maps but as long as we gave a generous amount of votes which we did (15 per category) then we could minimise it. Remember, 15 votes can go a long way.

I think groupings are all based on random order, via random.org.

which is actually rather silly because some maps are niche maps and no matter how great their gameplay or graphics are they'll never be as popular as a more classic map.

If people really enjoy playing on them, they will vote for it, as i said to cairns this just a bit of fun to see what maps people love playing the most. Of course niche maps are at a disadvantage but they will still gain votes from their loyal players and that's what we want to see. It's not like the map with the most votes is going to receive a prize or anything.

Thanks for making this possible! It still is unclear if it's 5 GA Medals for finding 5 differences on 5 maps or is it limit 1 per customer?

How do we know if we got credit for it? I turned in my response, including my e-mail address and never received any sort of confirmation e-mail or anything. Why do we need to put in an e-mail if that's not what it's for?

i would love it if they did categorise the maps. it would make things much easier, and that way you could also select a random map in a certain category. for example: "Random classic" or "Random Empire".

i m curious to see if the last one found is the same for all of us, or if the hardest is different for every person. i guess when this map is finished we will be able to tell which we found last and gave us the most effort.. it took me half an hour yesterday to find all 5..

interesting to see which ones are the most played; the top 10 doesn t surprise me at all though.

if anyone from the entertaining team could answer yesterday s question asked several times by many members; can we get 1 medal for each 5 map participating every single day?

Lol, I did try answering you, just doubt I was much use.

And it took me all of 20 secs to submit my entry for the comp.

Also, for the top 10 most played maps etc. Check the latest issue of the dispatch O:)

interesting to see which ones are the most played; the top 10 doesn t surprise me at all though.

if anyone from the entertaining team could answer yesterday s question asked several times by many members; can we get 1 medal for each 5 map participating every single day?

Lol, I did try answering you, just doubt I was much use.

And it took me all of 20 secs to submit my entry for the comp.

Also, for the top 10 most played maps etc. Check the latest issue of the dispatch O:)

20s lol come on, you have a scanner in your eyes or something? ;-)
I know you tried to answer but as you said it was an assumption and that we needed a confirmation from higher in the food chain, i thought they would ve answered..
for the most played maps a ranking has been posted of average games/day just here, which was quite interesting.

At the end of the event, everyone who successfully identified all changes in a map will receive a medal. It will state how many maps you identified...But only one medal will be awarded, not five.
