Map Data

Postby JCR on Sun Jul 15, 2012 5:29 pm

Suggestion:
I would find it useful if there were either a script similar to Maprank, or better, built into the browse maps page in Game finder that would give you stats and possibly top 5 players per map. I would do it myself but my computer savvy does not come anywhere close to writing scripts or code.

For Ex.
Iberia
created on 200?
10,000 games completed
132 Games active
standard 3000
assassin 200
dubs 2000
tips 1200
etc etc.
Top five players on map (list and show map earned points)
Top five most active players per map (list and show number of games)

It could be as simple as a few details or if someone really wanted to invest some time it could be a very detailed report on each map.

Sorry, I believe I did see this post a while ago. Not sure why I didn't comment. Either I did a quick reply and forgot to hit Submit, or I was waiting for the Map Rank maintainer to comment. Anyway, information about the best players used to be available on chipv's Map Rank Scoreboard, but he has taken that site down. It would be neat to reconstruct something like that, but it is beyond my skills and resources. Since our Foundry Foreman has created and is expanding the Map Foundry Gallery (see viewtopic.php?f=358&t=169263), I suggest you post there and see if the info you want can be included on those pages.
