Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel vs Immanuel Kant

Who do you pick?

You can use any criteria you want.
Here are some suggested criteria:

Was Kant's refutation of Hume's philosophy or Hegel's refutation of Hume's philosophy more impactful?

Does the breadth of Hegel's non-philosophical publications (on History and Religion) impress you more than the philosophy oriented Kant?

Hegel directly worked with what Kant started. Is the Critique of Pure Reason a better product than the upgraded Hegelian idealism?

Who is more handsome?

or Kant

A lot of people said they were anticipating the continuation of this series. Where are those people?

I voted Kant mostly because I think he's more popular.

I voted for Kant because it used to be that the only thing I knew about him was from Ayn Rand's rants against him. So for many years I hated him by proxy without having a clear idea of what he said. Then one day I saw some less vitriolic analysis of his work, and it all makes sense, so I changed course and decided to love him, by way of doing penance for having unjustly hated him earlier.

Don't ask me to dip below the meta and explain him, though...:)

Hegel, on the other hand, I have read firsthand, and he's a morose old prick, just like the picture shows.

Neither of these guys appear to be able to look at the camera to have a portrait taken.

They're both sitting for portraits. Clearly there's a difference in philosophy regarding the artist's assistant. Kant is obviously a leg man.

Ok, we are now at 5 votes. When we get the requisite 10, I will post Round 3.
