You would do well to be nervous of brees. When the playcalling isn't down because of the lack of offensive mastermind Sean Payton he's the best qb in the league. I don't know of any other sport where play calling is such an essential part of the game and to wrongfully strip the new Orleans saints of theirs and for all of you other nfl fans to ride along the Goodell bus has frankly made me sick. None of you are true nfl fans. And to the falcant fan who posted earlier, your team will be exposed come playoff time just like every year. Enjoy Sean Payton not being in the division and yuck it up as you receive a division title cherry picked by the commissioner. I hate you all

I believe this is a much better Atlanta team than in the past.

The Nawlins Bountygate thing is just weird and always has been. There has never needed to be added incentive to CREAM THE QUARTERBACK in the NFL when the opportunities present themselves.... it's always been a given, as long as it's a clean hit. Dirty play has always been handled post game with fines and suspensions.

A few years ago the Dallas Cowboys traveled to Arizona and had their playoff hopes squashed when QB Tony Romo and Pro Bowl punter Mat McBriar were injured on successive plays in overtime. The Cardinals went all the way to the Super Bowl that year.

Texans stumble while the Seahawks, Ravens, Packers & Falcons roll.
Steelers, Saints and Giants are all bumped out of playoff picture
while the Vikings, Cowboys, Redskins & Bears stay in the hunt.

Very disappointed this year. Steelers will bounce back, but it's still frustrating. Now I can pull for the Seahawks and end up watching a Super Bowl I don't really care about.

Skins can get a playoff berth even if they lose. Bears and Vikings both have to drop for that to happen.

RGIIIsus will light up the FedExField sky with his glorious rainbow passes over the outstretched arms of the likes of Claybourn, Carr, etc into the hands of a streaking Robinson, Garcon, Hankerson, or Moss. It shall be glorious. 7th win in a row = playoffs.

Carr and the "new name" defense will pic at least one RG3 pass tomorrow night.
Can Peterson and the Vikings run past the Pack?

Skins are hot right now. I think they'll take it, and even if they don't you can't knock them for the season they've had. They've earned a playoff spot.

I'd say the Vikings would have a chance if the Pack wasn't playing for anything. There's a bye on the line now that SF has stumbled. Losing to the Vikes would also mean a rematch at Lambeau the following week. Probably more doable, but do you really want to give the team you'd play next week that kind of confidence?

The Vikings have ridden Peterson down the stretch to stay in contention and winning in Houston last week showed they have the will to win. So anything is possible. The Cowboys are definitely capable of ending the Redskin's hot streak, but with a defense crippled with injuries they aren't likely to go far in the playoffs if they do win. Washington on the other hand even with their rookie QB and RB are in great shape to do some real damage in the post season.

Bears end Giants playoff hopes while the Texans surrender the AFC #1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs in Indianapolis. Houston outplayed the Colts in the second half with the exception of just 2 big plays; a 101 yd kickoff return after taking the lead and giving up a 70 yd TD on a third & 24. Broncos beat the Chiefs and they've got home field all the way to the Super Bowl and the Texans finishing 1-3 now have to play a Wild Card game.

Tennessee scored 28 points against Jacksonville in just a couple minutes without their offense even coming on the field. Vikings win and they're in, a Packer victory lets the Bears in.

It was a good game but unless that knee heals a bit better over the next week because I don't know how far they can go with a hobbling quarter back (all in all he played well)

The Redskins blitzing defense and Morris was so effective
that RG3 didn't have to toss many passes.

A well coached Washington team executed an excellent game plan
and earned the right to host Seattle in next week.

Saturdaze... all defense so far.

Cincy's only TD was a pick six and the Vikes only managed FGs
until the final four minutes of the 4th Quarter.

I suspect tomorrow will be more of the same, although Seattle
just might break that offensive trend.

In the BCS Bowls, a Heisman winner finally shows up
and plays big in the Cotton Bowl last night.

i'm not going to lie and say that I have 100% confidence today, but I've put money on the line for the redskins, so that counts for something.

I believe at the very least the San Francisco Vs green Bay looks like a good match up and I'm interested in seeing how Ravens play against Denver and how Seattle does against Atlanta. Houston however would have to play much better if they want to beat the Pats.

I am not sure on it but if I had to pick an upset game it would be Green Bay over San Francisco. I guess it wouldn't be much of an upset pick. as much as I hate to admit it though I trust in Denver winning more than I do Atlanta.

Houston is the biggest question mark next weekend. Have they got their mojo back? It's hard to say. The defense was definitely there Saturday, but I do believe the Texans will need their offense to be productive if they're going to keep up with the Pats and escape New England with a win.

All the Divisional Playoff games look tight. I haven't heard the status of RG3 and sure hope he didn't make his injury worse playing yesterday. His knee giving out late in the game was a hard thing to watch. I wondered how long he would be in the game once the Redskins had the 14-0 lead. Griffin looked gimpy after most plays and I didn't expect him to stay in the game. A big risk that didn't pay off.

Four rookie QBs entered the playoffs last weekend, now only one remains. The Falcons and Seahawks should be a fun game to watch.

Ravens pulled that one out of their rumps with a TD in the final 30 seconds of both halves after giving up two special team touchdowns to the Broncos. I'm glad Baltimore didn't score on that first OT possession with the questionable calls. Of course that game should have never made it to overtime.

SanFran just played their game... dominating time of possession
and running thru the Pack.

Ravens also benefitted from some questionable calls, especially that pass interference late in the game that gave them a 1st down and led to a TD.

Falcons have a great first half as the Seahawks squander opportunities
to stay in striking distance. Fat Lady's almost ready to sing already.

Well there were worrying signs in the first make as 86 has beenWIDE open all game long. Seahawks trying to come back.

Whoa... Seattle comes back to take their only lead of the game
with 31 seconds remaining.
what a finish eh?
49 yard field goal sails wide right, but wait a timeout was called.
Atlanta breathes a sigh of relief.

Proud of our offense but our defense looked a bit confused all game long. Matt Ryan threw two interceptions though i dont blame him for the first as it was caused more by Gonzalez hesitating on the break then a bad pass. Should be a good game next week. Atlanta Will need to step it up if they want to win.

Four teams remain and though I believe anything is possible
at this point, the Patriots are favored by the experts.
