We don't have any here so, Mrs. dimes can spot them let me tell you. Boy Howdy do I ever wish the trail was so straight between our shack and Koolio's!

Ever been to Whitefish Saxi?

*assumes Dimey be talking to me*

I been to Whitefish Montana or thereabouts.....spent a long weekend at Big Mountain...oh....20 years ago. I remember most of it.......woke up one morning with a new tshirt that said "Lube Your Tube at the Stube"...I assume I got it from the bar there called the BierStube

Why do you ask, 2 Dimes rubbing?

In high school the BierStube was one of those magic places where all the coolest skiers had been.
I don't call you "Saxi" often but when I do...

Why do you ask..

Mostly because the closest Sizzler to Mrs. dimes is in Kalispell. Whitefish's closest city.

I don't know what/where Johnny Rockets is, but my CC sympathies gave me no other option.

Buffalo Wild Wings is actually taking over quite a few of their markets.

But I would vote for Genghis Grill which is mongolian barbeque and not listed

commuting to the US to work 32 hours a week is not appealing for any of those options.

are there no casual dining restaurants elsewhere in the world?

The Olive Garden is the best...I've only been there twice, but both times the food, atmosphere, and service were awesome.

Mexicans go to Senor Frogs to pickup your drunk daughters in Spring Break. Had a friend from Sweeden (probably Gillipig's sister) who had a resolution to get fucked by a Mexican. Since she was friends with my gf I was not in play, and she ended up fucking an ugly Mexican, I still remember her coming back to our hotel room at like 3 am with a limp. Sometimes I share too much.

I was thinking more of something like Pollo Loco.

EDIT: Relevant because she met that ugly guy at Senor Frogs.

I know what I eat, and I agree, the Olive Garden sucks. I won't go back. My wife is an excellent cook and her Italian dishes put Olive Garden to shame, and she is not Italian.

The problem with the chains is all the meals are in single serving bags and they boil them to heat them and then serve you. Nothing is made in the restaurant anymore except maybe the salad. All the meals are prepackaged in a plant in Somalia and then shipped to the chain for distribution. It's CRAP food.

I meant to specifically state Olive Garden is horrid here. Excepting the soup salad and bread sticks.

Mr. Frog's was ok. They did not have the cool new plastic frog sign when it was here in the'90s.

That's really revolting lol.

That place is jammed every time I drive by it. I've eaten there a few times and I find it's "OK" and I don't suppose I expect much more from a chain restaurant.

Don't be that way. Last time I went to one was near Waikiki. They came around with a bottle of blue banana flavoured tequila and poured it into any adult that would lean back and open their mouth. We ate nachos and met someone from an internment forum. The place is marvelous.

Wtf...
Sounds like those hipster restaurants in NYC where they shout at you and throw food at you, et cetera all in good fun.

You know, I'm being pretty hard on these places but I eat pretty much strictly home-cooked meals either by myself or someone else so I'm somewhat spoiled. I remember before this was the case and I really loved to eat at some particular chains. In all seriousness, I don't knock anyone for loving the Olive Garden or anywhere else for that matter. If that's your idea of great food who am I to talk trash? Besides, some of my favorite things to eat are goat products: meat, milk, cheese, etc. and I'm sure many on here would find this utterly disgusting. :D
