My Ski run bike Playlist:

Eruption (halen)
Cant drive 55 (hagar)
Faith (limp biskit version)
Go (Pearl Jam)
Go (Asia) f**k off
Lets go crazy (Prince) f**k off again

Rock and roll (Zeppelin)
Vasoline (STP)
Black Dog (Zeppelin)

Music has been conclusively proven to make you better at many physical activities, including surgery, though not driving ironically enough. For driving it slows your reaction time, and it almost doesnt even matter what type you listen to.
(This is for ordinary driving though. It is possible for high performance driving, that it would help)

My favorite song/activity was listening to Zeppelins Dyer Maker right before going skydiving for the first time.

The line: "if my wings should fail below, please meet me with another pair" made me break out into a cold sweat.

Most Bond themes are good driving tunes:

the world is in greater peril from those who tolerate or encourage evil than from those who actually commit it- Albert Einstein
