Vote Count:

Iliad (1) - Spiesr
Flow (1) - illy
Wolf (3) - KGB, Butterfly, TWO
Nagerous (1) - Nebs
jonty (1) - safari
YOUR MALEVOLENT OVERLORD (-10) - FirFir
safari (2) - flow, jonty
Fircoal (2) - Nagerous, Wolf

With 13 alive, it takes 8 to lynch.

P.S. Current deadline is tonight. Can be changed.
But... It was so artistically done.

I had completely lost track of how close we were to deadline. Well...I don't think there's been any cases made nor any that could gain any momentum in 1 day so...Extension?

"There will be no good guys or bad guys – only players and pawns, so this *WILL* not be a traditional mafia game. Thou must realize – if thou will decide to play the Game of Thrones, thou will win… Or die. There is no middle ground."

I have been at a loss as to how to approach day one. How do you "hunt" scum when there really are no scum per say but factions?

The death of one player could mean the win condition for another player.

In many ways a lynch has more consequences in this game then a regular mafia game.

Even in a faction game, the mod most likely kept some kind of mafia-esque group to create incentives to vote towards one side. Otherwise I would imagine we would likely stalemate on lynches and whichever group(s) has the killing ability most strongly behind them could cruise to victory.

I would support an extension, problem is no one is posting and I doubt an extension will really help the cause. We do need a lynch but I doubt we're going to reach one at this rate :(

That's true enough but I'd rather not leave the day as is. We have not even pressured anyone and at this point. I want to look into an inactive for lack of a better case at this point but without assurance that we would have enough time to get more than a couple of votes against the person, well it's difficult to fully convince myself, let alone anyone else aware of the situation.

We may as well start something. I will NOT blindly lynch for the sake of a lynch. If this does not generate discussion and we are where we are tuesday morning I will remove my vote.

If we get things rolling then we can perhaps get another extension.

Yeah, I suppose an inactive pressure is the best we can do at this point, and Illy unfortunately does not have a good track record at staying active recently.

Glad you say that you will not blindly lynch for the sake of the lynch, others have latched onto this thought, hopefully this will not be the case, simply as Iliad has been inactive in every game so it's not actually a scum tell. I would rather see a replacment for Iliad arranged - mod what say you?

Question for Strike Wolf: What know you about honour?

*goes back to reading GoT, 100 pages to go!* (but another 9000 or whatever the f*ck before I finish the series written to date :( )

I must apologize for my general inactivity...getting ready for a second wave of exams, presently, so I've been a wee bit swamped. I'll try to increase my activity, within a day or two.

I think Nebuchadnezer had a very nice list of possible characters:
Nebuchadnezer wrote:1. Rheagar Targaryen
2. Robert Baratheon
3. King Aerys II
4. Eddard Stark
5. Jon Arryn
6. Jaime Lannister
7. Mace Tyrell
8. Jon Connington
9. Hoster Tully
10. Grand Master Pycelle
11. Varys
12. Tywin Lannister
13. Some other minor house (Frey, Greyjoy)

(I could see only one character of the small council, so maybe Frey and Greyjoy are both in.)

I see the blue as "rebellion", red as "loyalists", green as "will choose" and orange as "survivor." I could also see only a few chosen people to be masoned...possibly Robert/Eddard and/or Rhaegar/King Aerys.

From what I read in the prologue, I pulled the following names:
Leliana (Might just be part of the narration?)
Leliana's Uncle (Might just be part of the narration?)
Aerys the II Targaryen (Slightly mad, not on the throne)
Rhaegar Targaryen (Crown Prince)(Kidnaps Lyanna Stark)
Lyanna Stark (betrothed to Robert Baratheon)
Robert Baratheon
Brandon Stark (Tries to recover Lyanna Stark)
Eddard Stark

Note: Lyanna Stark and Brandon Stark are not on Nebuchadnezer's list.

Things we know from the prologue:
There is no more in-fighting between Targaryens. (All Targaryens are allied in this game.)
Aerys the II Targaryen demands (present tense) the heads of Robert Baratheon, and Eddard Stark. (Presumably, he already has the head of Brandon Stark (Who was caught attempting to recover Lyanna Stark)

So I would submit this as a list of known characters in this game.
    *Aerys the II Targaryen
    *Rhaegar Targaryen
    *Lyanna Stark
    *Robert Baratheon
    *Brandon Stark
    *Eddard Stark

Brandon Stark is dead. The scene didn't detail it but they are. Lyanna...maybe she would be in the game but I do not know in what capacity. She was the catalyst that started the war but beyond that she wasn't directly involved in the rebellion. The six characters I would think are almost assured to be in this game are there but I would never guarantee the whole list simply because Commander probably left at least one name off to give as a convincing fake claim. At least that's how I usually give out fake claims. The other side is that this is a faction game.

And as far as I can tell, Iliad is L-3.
Iliad (5) - Spiesr, Butterfly, safari, Wolf, jonty
Flow (1) - illy
Wolf (2) - KGB,TWO
Nagerous (1) - Nebs
YOUR MALEVOLENT OVERLORD (-10) - FirFir
safari (1) - flow
Fircoal (1) - Nagerous

But I don't feel safe added my vote on Iliad to apply more pressure until we get an official mod count. (I just dont want to make it L-1 by mistake and have someone hammer before we get a chance to hear from Iliad.)

Doesn't it require 7 to lynch. 7-5=2.

Do we really know Brandon Stark is dead?
Commander9 wrote:Brandon Stark reacted and he reacted swiftly – despite numerous warnings and suggestions, he rushed to King’s Landing and demanded Rhaegar’s head. Of course, that didn’t work and both he and his followers were imprisoned and their parents were called up to their trial. The trial, however, never happened – everyone but were executed. Aerys wasn’t happy with just that – he demanded the heads of Eddard Stark and Robert Baratheon too… Which he wasn’t going to get without a fight.
The grammer error makes me think that Commander9 may have left a name out when he was writing it. (Perhaps Commander9 can confirm for us.)

I am assuming that the mod is following canon on who would have died at Kings Landing. As long as he doesn't say otherwise at least.
