Excellent idea to start a clan before finishing your first game! There's a great saying: "Winners start before they feel ready". You Sir, are obviously a winner.
How does one apply? Do you want statistics, or a simple resume with clan experience, map and setting preferences etc.
My current clan just doesn't cut it, I look forward to an upgrade to a more elite organisation.

Yeah, most of the players here a bunch of hopeless idiots. You can get to the top of the board without even trying, but you will need to give it a week or so

Hello again Sir!

Find someone at the top of the scoreboard stupid enough to meet you in combat.
Get them to Real Time the games with you (play each turn immediately).
Spend a few hours consistently kicking their ass until you are high on the scoreboard.
Find another victim and do the same, preferably one of the absolute highest ranked players on the site.
Real Time beat them until you reach Conqueror.

Top ranked players will most likely deny you games, so a more realistic approach is to find mid ranked players willing to real time.
Or simply join every speed-game you see and win. Or at least until all the speed people have foed you out of fear.

I know a quicker solution!

You grab a print screen of the top scoreboard, cut the 1st ranking, paste in your user name using some photo editing and share the pic in the forums.
It always works!

In the case this is not an April Fool's joke/multi...

Starting your own clan is very ambitious. First, you have to find out if you really enjoy teamgames. Then, you have to have some friends that want to join your clan. Even then you need to read up on all the rules and protocols. I would recommend playing a game with me, settings of your liking as long as I'm in your team, after which you evaluate your initial idea of creating a clan.

This bug has been known for a while, since came into effect in 2016 to be precise. Someone mentioned our time wasnt correctly linked to your kitchen clock a few weeks later.
