Russia, China fill global leadership void

Postby mrswdk on Tue Sep 05, 2017 5:49 am

As the US continues to issue shrill demands for a nuclear war to be initiated on the Korean Peninsula, the mature leaders of Russia and China have urged calm, diplomacy and peace:

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said pursuing further sanctions against North Korea is "useless", saying "they'd rather eat grass than give up their nuclear programme".

Mr Putin also said that the ramping up of "military hysteria" could lead to global catastrophe.

He said diplomacy was the only answer.

China, the North's main ally, has also called for a return to negotiations.

China's envoy to the UN, Liu Jieyi, said: "China will never allow chaos and war on the peninsula."

Is there anyone left who is still under the illusion that the US is a force for good in this world?

Answer: no.

....and
China's stock market may crash if the U.S. carries it's threat to stop all trade with nations like China who prop up North Korea.

China can stop all oil shipments to North Korea today, if it so chooses.

It's a shame that the only thing the US seems able to offer is to throw shade at its rivals.

Perhaps if it spent more time building and maintaining mutually advantageous relationships it would not find itself so isolated and dependent on military threat to wield influence.

Also, there is literally 0% chance the US will 'cease all trade' with China so let's come back down to Planet Earth.

Where is all that praise you bestowed to Trump now?

The fuker is a loose cannon and so is the leadership of North Korea. China has been nursing North Korea for decades and now the U.S. is going to tighten the purse strings to those who help North Korea.

You got stocks in Chinese Companies? Sell them now before the crash.

Perhaps if China weren't filled with conceited D-bags they could come anywhere close to how many allies the US has.

1. You predicted that Russia's economy will collapse under the US pressure from sanctions... Its growing now
2. You predicted that Bernie Sanders will win the democratic primaries... He failed
3. You predicted that Hillary Clinton will become US president... She failed

With your history of being correct we should all buy Chinese stocks and get our self rich.

We all know that since you joined CC on 08 Sep 2015 you weren't correct even once so...
Seriously, have you ever been correct sometimes in your life?

Back on subject... US(and UN) established sanctions on North Korea for its nuclear program on 1993, what changed since then?
The sanctions simply didn't work. Instead of sanctions US should have retreated from South Korea after the end of the cold war.
The sooner US understands that the driving factor for North Korea's nuclear program is US presence on Korean peninsula the better it will be for the whole world.

People have been predicting the Chinese economy will implode for the last 20 years. Hasn't happened yet, not gonna happen any time soon.

lol yeah. The US threatens North Korea with 'fire and fury' then goes running to the UN crying that Korea is a nasty aggressive warmaker.

You couldn't find a picture with older presidents? I guess newer ones dont laugh for a reason.

Iraq and Syria are almost solved manly with the support of Russia. Probably by the begging of next year there will be peace in both countries. The biggest problem is that China is still shy, but I presume that wont last long. And when that happen every problem that US created will be solved one by one and in the end US will be solved as the biggest problem of all.

Wherever you will laugh or not is up to you, but what will happen is not. For that the world has Russia and China.
