LOL. As I said, I'm fine with it. Just intrigued. No need for ass pounding comment cupcake. :D

In spite of the few games presented as evidence, taking into consideration his knowledge of the farming rule, his past, and his awareness of his actions, this report results in a disciplinary action where he will be stopped from joining games with new recruits for a certain period. And to make this fully possible, he has been blocked from joining games with any new recruits for a month.

Wow!

Two cents:

1. This is indeed unprecendented since past farming violations have focused on a relative high share of NR games (%-wise and time frames having varied from case to case). But now, (i) few games, (ii) being aware of playing NRs and (iii) knowledge of the rule is enough for a warning. Normally one would expect that not having bothered to read the rules wouldn't be an excuse. And apparently an effort to follow the rules/past decisions (as they were) is something that is an aggrevating factor. That really doesn't make sense to me, especially since joining a few games (everyone knows exactly who/what he/she is doing when joining a game) was explicitly said to be ok when the rule was announced. If this is followed consequently, it is very easy to run foul of this anti-NR "farming" rule. In fact, it seems more like an anti-NR "playing" rule reading this.

2. But I'm fine with this. Don't mind the drama. Recall "my" de facto double turns that also caused a change to the CC programming.... :D

Seriously? You have played 11500 games and roughly 20% of your games look like they could have been against NR's. Thats like say 2300 games of yours, you were farming. THAT IS A LARGE NUMBER!

Clearly, Alstergren can do whatever the f*ck he wants. His spurious report against GENERAL, recognized by King Achilles as such, resulted in...nothing, not even a formal warning. This site is really starting to suck.

I like this :D

i love how he comes in, makes a sound judgement, then resorts to this stuff again... all in all, a good call on this case...-el Jesus negro
A good call? the judgement says nothing nor does it really give any punishment. Its as weak as water and why am i not surprised

is punishment really what we are after here? revenge rather than rehabilitation? if he is now blocked playing nr's = no more problem = problem solved..
and to be frank alster was never the problem to start with.. he still plays competitive games and still is one of the better players on the site, the problem is the freestyle-farmers in the top.. they are screwing the scoreboard not what alster did..

just lol, he keeps his rank and points purely by playing NR's and low rankers if you cant see that then you have my pity.

starting? the abuse of the rules of the few that have been getting away with it is beyond problematic now. throw in the gaming abuse by members of team CC which was virtually ignored and one starts to wonder how far they are willing to let things go. say something that strikes too close to their sensibilities and get a forum ban, farm like mad to get to the top of the board of kick people from games to win upwards of 40% of your last months games and you get a warning. i have never understood how they are so rabid about enforcing forum rules, even UNWRITTEN RULES, but do little to nothing about cheating that affects the leader board... team CC has lost it's luster... when you use volunteers, often times you get what you pay for...-0

That's a nice thought, but I'm pretty sure King Achilles does get paid. I'm just not sure why, frankly.
