The biggest problem I have is that no algorithm can create pure randomness. Thus, random.org or whatever the site they use for the dice rolls may be a good representation of dice rolls, but I have played thousands of real RISK games and never come close to some of the bad (and good) rolls on the site. Thus, sometimes the player with better strategy is going to lose. That being said, I'm still going to keep playing because:
1. I love to play RISK
2. It's fun playing on all the different maps
3. I can hang out in the forums all day when I'm not playing.

One of the best kept secrets of CC is that premium members get random dice from random.org, while non-premium members get notsorandom dice from suckitupcupcake.com. You get what you pay for. Har.

The French lady was extremely stupid, but that's to be expected.

Then your strategy must be terrible. You need to retire... Been here since 2006 and still a cook. Hang it up.. go outside and do something...

Without cooks, there are no generals (or higher). Remember, for all those high ranked players to get points they have to beat somebody.

Actually my strategy is terrible. 90% of my games are 8 player games that i start and they're open to the public. People like yourself, who get their nut by having some little pissant insignia in an online game stick for the most part to doubles, and when they do venture into a singles game it's a private one where they don't have to deal with random noobs doing bizarre things. Tell me, is anyone outside of this site impressed with that little crown you got? Do you cite it on job applications? Think it will get you laid? I can see by your avatar that you fancy yourself some kind of comic book hero - hope that helps to get you thru the lonely nights. I play the game to have fun. Silly me.

..also I know that honibabk has been on the wrong end of the luck recently. He was several ranks highere a few weeks ago - and has lost a buncha games (some of which I was in) in row.

I'm sure it keeps him awake at night. At least when you're a cook you can wear the rank as a hat.
