I really hope they allow SSBM to be internet compatitable so I can combat any internet person...
With brawl coming, My gamecube skills are going to help me MORE there.
SSBM is not going to be but SSBB should be. ;)
once SSBB goes online there will be a lot less noobs :)

wait, ssb tournament?!?! why didn't anyone tell me?

*dashes off in hopes of making the last spot*
Thank heavens... I am tired of a lack of good challengers.
I say to nintendo, Please finish this project and have internet compatitability! I can not wait much longer. *Begins hitting his head on the wall*
yeah and any new pro techniques that are discovered in the game will be widely known thanks to online :)
Also it'll be good to improve, because with my spare time, I can face many people, and get better. ;)

Brawl would be the only reason I buy a Wii (If I can find one). If it has full multi-player support we should get a CC topic going in games for a league of people from here.

I may not buy brawl if it lacks Luigi though. He is such a great character for learning the more advanced moves, and his taunt actually does damage. I also haven't seen mention of Caption Falcon returning.

Edit: A question though. How is multi-player going to handle unlocked characters and content? I could see a lot of different possible answers for it. The worst being that only the content that doesn't need to be unlocked is available for online play.

Don't worry, if it does. I'll be starting one right away. ;)

I hope that the internet feature does not cut the unlockables altogether...

All the originals are confirmed.
I'll be joining that league as soon as it's formed ;)
Nintendo really hasn't gotten behind online in their games, but they usually do things well, and I can't imagine them denying their loyal fan(atic)s their favorite character or stage.

no, not now. ;)

Some people on some sites, I'm not say that Nintendo doesn't do good with internet. Just wait until Super reads that. ;) And I hope they don't deny the loyal fans. ;)

I know, but all they really have to do is ensure a stable connection. As long as the fight is moving as fast as IRL, I'm fine with it.

There's no reason at all they'd do that. Why piss off the pros who don't like items?

Nintendo's not Sony, I mean stupid  ...
It should just be an online version of multi-player, although I don't know how they'll handle whose unlocked stages, etc. to use...

We might as well stop the quote pyramid.
I say the sooner nintendo gets their masterpiece done professionally, the better.

I think we should have a SSBM lvl 9 CPU tourney set up to pass the time.
Who should be the one to post the matchups and such?
