i think you are wrong. first of all, im not sure there is a single soul here that do not respect G1. most of you guys are here much longer then i am, and if nothing else, i have to respect all the experience you have accumulate. i remember one of my first team tournaments ive played, and blitz surprise when he saw we beat you guys. at that time he already thought of me as a respectable player(now he learned that i just flow with the good rolls ), so it just show how much respect he held for you guys. and im pretty sure most of the site shares that...
however, you having relatively low ranking has nothing to do with you playing tournaments. im playing tournaments all the time, along with clan war and clan league games. i dont farm noobs, i rarely play colonel+ games, and for all this time my raking hasnt sunk. and im not even close to best players. look at CoF. he is also playing tournaments regularly, and he is general for god know how long. and there is simple explanation for it. he is just that good. and thats the difference between strong clan like G1 or outstanding clan like TOFU. its not that you guys are bad, its just that these guys are superb.
also, most of the clans use all of their players. right now, when Nemesis appointed me to be accountable for clan war, im urging all of Nemesians to enter the clan war. and for me, that is the point of clan war, having your whole clan participate. and again, there is a difference between G1 and best clans on CC(elite group in which Nemesis still is not in but we are trying to close the gap ). if you play against THOTA or TOFU or any of top 6-7 clans, you can face any of their players and it will be pretty much same for you, as their worst players are at the same level as their best players.
and like someone below already said, there are some 20 good clans in CC, so not everyone can be best, but being 15th or 16th doesnt mean you arent getting any respect

I hope TOFU never falls into the category of 'elitist', allegedly only playing its strongest members. We adopt a very egalitarian system whereby all clan members request the games they would like to play and we put the teams together accordingly. "No post no game" is the only ironclad rule we adopt. Fortunately for us our 18 members (with the exception of Daryth who did a vanishing act after becoming a Dad) are all very active, both in the variety of games they play and in the forum, so we're never short of volunteers and/or capable players (I think the average clan rank is colonel). A major factor I adopted in determining the ranks 1-20 (when we did the seedings) was to look at the strength in depth of each clan, for it's going to take a stable (lol, deference to THOTA) of 10 good players to do well in this tourney due to the game quota. Every clan has its star line-up which is capable of beating anyone on the day (take BFM, with Bogan, Draq & Gallant), but one swallow does not a summer make.

As for tournies....yeah, love them personally. I do steer clear of the joke ones though where you can enter and virtually be contesting a semi final straight away and get a medal for winning a couple of games, preferring instead the long-haul variety that run over a few months (Lindax's excellent TLO being a case in point, or TheChosen's 'As It Should Be Played' tournaments - sadly no longer a feature on CC). So whilst I've only entered about 20 tournies, each of them has featured many many games. And like freakns I can't abide farming - that's simply the preserve of the frustrated schoolyard bully or glory hunter. Sure I value my star, but I'm not going to turn down games to maintain it and will always keep a healthy level of active games on my plate.

Anyway, enough about me. This tourney's going to be great and is exactly what this site needed. No more clan-dodging - we're all in the melting pot now, and if anything's to come out of this it will certainly be a better portrayal of where clans belong on a new, improved, revised, amended (lol) ladder.

Yep,same like Left4dead-all ours members play games,not like other high clans,who constantly play games with more or least same players. I will definitely not be in some clan who will tell me to sit in chair and to be constantly reserve.

I don't think very many high clans do this. I know that tsm doesn't. Heck, they let me play games Seriously though, I don't think there are clans out there that play 5 guys for a whole challenge. If a clan didn't think people could play, then they wouldn't have them. All monki's play if they are available. And I think most clans, near the top or the bottom, do that same thing.

Another good example of this is the 120 game challenge between AOD and BSS, probably the two largest clans in CC and i think at least every member in AOD has been in at least one game if not several....

Look forward to spectating this, shame we couldnt participate with our schedule but it should be a wild ride to say the least.

well, they do... but under clan war agreement those games arent counting. not sure should i told you this, but i think its time for you to face bitter truth!

Some clans do distribute more to their better players. I definitely distribute more to players who actually win, and they are not always the highest ranked.

People in LOW who play the most games are not necessarily the ones who have the best record or are the highest ranked. Its a matter of who is available when.

You're not wrong there mate. Look at rabbiton, probably your leading player, who consigns himself to just two or three games a month.

Lol Nipper. Who would I be scared of, we aren't playing. I just thought it would be fun to see different opponents. Nemesis vs BSS are playing each other right now. Then they have to make a new clan war and play another 40 games. Just my opinion. Could have switched some, you guys could have played someone just above or below LOW, G1 could have played nemesis, Kort could have played BSS. I would have found it more interesting, just my opinion though. Thought I would see what everyone else though. It seems more people disagree with me though, so perhaps it's just me.

I think the G1 vs KORT rematch and the LOW vs O&H will be great because there has been a while to cool down from G1-KORT and enough time (imho) for LOW. I agree with you about BSS and Nemesis, and I think there are a couple more who are in a challenge together right now. That's too much at once. You play them as you lie though, and I'm sure it's just extra incentive for the team who is behind in the current match to rally things together.

OK, we are creating ALL games at once?! couldnt we play it in two sessions or something like that... 40 games is a bit too much
