There is some interest in the map, as you have seen. And some against it, also. I'm leaning toward against it. I think you've got some talents that could be used in a more unique map, that is, if you have any other projects in mind.

The ocean and the non-playable places make that actaul terits very hard to see. Maybe make that a little lighter.

Oh come on Andy. You cannot stop a decent map like this one from production while letting a crap map like Doodle Earth stay in production for so long.

This is the first time I am saying it but I think the foundry process is flawed. Why can't we let this map maker create this map if he wants to? I am sure there will be many who will play it. Something needs to be done about this...

I say we start a petition to keep this going - it already looks brilliant and we're only just beginning!

Well I am hoping that Andy will answer my post when he reads it and gives the green light for the development of this map.

After all mods did say that other maps were not a good idea and even though they were 100,000 times worse than this and totally unplayable work continued on them. Some even got quenched.

A great empire like Persia deserves a map. Heck we even have more than one map for certain territories so why shouldn't we have this one. As long as a map is good and playable I don't care if it's similar to others...

You guys are looking into my words too much. I didn't stop production, I just said I was leaning against it. I lean against a lot o fmaps. But I rarely ever stop the production. I just stated my opinion he could use his talents in a map that could set his abilities apart, instead of rehashing an area. It wasn't an official decision, if it was, I would've said so.

So calm down, be happy, smile, and eat banana. ;)

Good so the misunderstanding is cleared. Thanks for the reply Andy. I guess the map maker can continue with his work and perhaps Andy will start leaning on another side once the map progresses further. :)

Always trying to start trouble, damnit, Ruben. ;)

Anyways, I do think you, night2, have some very nice talents. So I'll be interested to see how this map goes, or any other projects you start.

not sure if this has been said but the bonuses are hard to read

Bonuses are too small, and KISH IS TOO HIDDEN. Also sardis should be five at the most.

If so take the Aria bonus down one too. And make the Urmia-Hyrcania passage more visible somehow.

I will make bonuses larger ...

About the Kish, I can't make it larger! the real Kish is very smaller than it and that's Gheshm, but I named it Kish because Kish is very smaller!

and about sardis, yes I wanted to do that but I forgot! also I forgot change Syria to Sidon!

The Persian was very near to Greece at that time ...

You can use Google Images Search and see many maps ...

ya we learned about them in history

this map looks decent.
the non-country background is kinda overdone.
just for clarification...you cant hold the seas right?
i dont understand why so many small continents.
and I must say this looks a lot like alexander's empire with different color continents and a different name...

About non-country background I couldn't understand your mean! sorry I'm not English, if you can explain more!

And seas no, thay can't be holden!

They are not many, just 10 that makes more hope for poor players to grow again!

And you know this isn't alexander's empire ... this is Persian Empire that in some years, alexander attacked them ...
