It's 21 to purchase a handgun and 18 to buy a rifle, but minors can OWN them. They can be registered in your name.

not this one...special washington law...that would be why, otherwise my family would have me with it already...its like they want me to marry it or something...

Not sure if I'm too old now, but if not I'll have no other choice 'cept being an outlaw and forced to leave the US to Canada. If I am, then I go to college as planned but then go ROTC and enlist as a Lieutenant!
