Im pretty sure Americans are the only ones that play baseball, so I think it's fair to call teh World Series champ the "World Champions"
I believe the Japanese won the America hosted "World Baseball Classic" That means the Japanese players are better than American players (which lost to Canada, a team of college players). And most of the Japanese players were playing in Japan as well.
Ouch!

Are you saying that all flags that have blue, white and red in them, have copied American's flag?

You're fucking blind.
ARE YOU A RETARD THE ONLY REASON WHY THE FRENCH HAD A REVOLUTION WAS BECAUSE THEY WERE ARE ALLI IN THE WAR OF 1812 AND OUR REVOLUTIONARY WAR. THE FRENCH WANTED DEMOCRACY NOT W/E ITS CALLED WITH A KING SO THEY HAD A REVOLUTION
You are mixing thing up big time. BTW French revolution started 1789. but liberal ideas of French scholars did find it's way into America (like Lafayette did) in mid 18. century... LOL!!!!
Well the American revolution did happen earlier....

Aside from that, the Netherlands also have the tri-colour flag and we revolted at the end of the 16th century.

Edit: "George Washington is credited for saying: "We take the stars from Heaven, the red from our mother country (britain), separating it by white stripes, thus showing that we have separated from her, and the white stripes shall go down to posterity representing Liberty."

I will say this one LAST time for everyone...
Anarkistsdream wrote:Let me reiterate then

The three colours first appeared together tied as ribbons, on the pontifical banner that Pope Leo III offered to Emperor Charlemagne in 796, the blue being the colour of the Church, the white that of virgins, and the red homage paid to Christian martyrs.

Would you like to make yourself look even worse now???

.......First of all...The "World Series" was so named because it was originally sponsored by a newspaper called "The World"...and.....I don't see the winner offering to play any professional teams anywhere else.......lol....I suspect there are teams in Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Dominican Republic, Cuba, and many other countries that would cause the "World Series Champs" to cough in their rompers! I love the game, but...let's not let this "World Champion" crap continue...."World Series Champions".....sure........anything else.....prove it boys.

How fucking stupid are you?

The tricolore, flag adopted after the frenchrevolution,ha the colours blue, white and red representing the three ideals liberty, equalityand brothergood, the slogan of the revolution.
really? i was under the impression that the flag was originally blue and red, but the white was put in because it was the king's final wish before they lopped his head off...

i agree with anarkist no one can call them self world champions unless they beat everyone

People from the U.S. naturally think were better than everyone else

People not from the U.S. always want to prove that were not ( but we have some dumbasses here and they try to deny it even though we lost)

I'm not saying that the U.S. is better than anyone else vice versa
