I lost this one to Minnesota on the road due to unfamiliarity to their home court and lack of motivation going into the game, hope we get back on track...[/quote]
Not even the Dallas Cowboys had such a lame excuse for a loss, my gold tooth foe. #3 goes down!

I know that I've asked it once before but I really don't know which of the 50 pages exactly and I think that I didn't get an answer (or just missed it) so I'm going to ask again
What's up with the top 10 thingy?

The top-10 is just a fun weekly rankings thing we're doing for this league to mimic the real top-25 poll that is released during the real college basketball season. (It helps give an idea of who are the top teams throughout the year)
The first installment of bracketology can be found on Page 50 or maybe it's 51 on this thread...it's an excel document.

OK, here's the second installment of bracketology...as I have said before I whip through these fairly quickly, so don't put too much into it. This is just to get an idea of where teams are...the committee will pour over stat sheets, results and any offered bribes for hours the night before the true Selection Show.
Oops...ignore the date at the top of the sheet...this is for Jan. 16.
A red arrow down means the team dropped
A green arrow up means they moved up
Nothing in the box means they stayed the same.

Southern Illinois was furious about not being predicted to make the NCAA Tournament. They take their anger out on Missouri Valley rival Northern Iowa. Coach says "Maybe now they'll respect us and oh yeah watch out conference." Coach brings up whether the Missouri Valley is getting enough respect compared to the 7 Pac-10 teams. But, they are not comparable the power conferences will say. But, who knows the Committee will decide.

all teams go to the conference tourney. winner of the conference tourney gets an auto invite to the big dance then it'll go to at large bids. teams that don't get an at large bid will be playing in the NIT tourney.

well explained TigerJosh
The tournament selection show will have explanations for why teams were slotted in their spots and why some of the bubble teams were left out. I'm working on hiring Clark Kellogg for the analysis, but he's quite expensive. My budget may require his lesser known brother Kellogg Corn Flakes
