I've just come up with something quite interesting. After SS is over, I'll announce it.

Well, after Bad Poets ends, whenever that might be, my next will probably be an Inquisition sequel. I'll use semi-open signups (like I did with Sherwood), and game size will be floating - I'll just go with however many people I get.

I'd like to try modding, so if there's still nothing going in a few days I'd start a C9... Less chances to screw up :P
Yea, night 3 on that one. And ga7's beating my pretty badly at a game of Risk that came up in that thread.

There's a Matrix mafia game coming up soon I guess. That could be interesting.

WOW, odd, I just thought of the idea, of you doing a sequal to Inquistion, today.

Even though I died Night 1, It was fun to read. Especially how they lynched everyone at the end.

No unvoting, unlimited votes, forced voting, as many lynches as we wanted. T'was awesome.

I have a suggestion. IN each pm, so people don't lose, them, and so they remember there actions, write. "Remember to save the pm, by clicking save pm."

I'll repost the rules (and a link to the original) once I'm ready to make the game, but it basically went like this :

Days run on a strict deadline, 96 hours per.

Each player may denounce (vote) as many other players as they wish during the day; however, there are no unvotes (anyone who attempts to unvote is modkilled for "uttering falsehood in the face of God").

Each player is required to make at least one denounciation per day (anyone who fails this is also modkilled, for "failure to comply with the dictates of the Church").

All players who have been denounced by a majority at the end of the day are lynched; if no player reaches majority, the player(s) with the most denunciations is lynched.

The day cannot end with a no lynch (voting "no lynch" will get you modkilled as well, for "uttering heresy in the face of God").

BUMP *idiot grin*
jk..
but i want to ask a question..i'm thinking of starting a mafia game, and is it possible to have twists in the storyline that may involve modkilling players, instead of just a plain vanilla game being controlled by the players?

I have 3 possible mafia game ideas: Gothic Castle, Classroom, and space ship.

i'm thinking of a prison-themed game.. where the mafia are actually the good guys :D and out to get the snitches..
although it could go both ways.

In the class room the mafia are the nerds. and the good guys are the people who cheat

anyone want to answer my question?

The answer to your question is that you are the mod; you can do whatever the hell you want.

However, if the twists in your storyline are based on modkills, expect the players you kill to be unhappy. It's not really fair to have certain roles that are guaranteed to die.

Question: If the mafia usurper in a game kills the godfather, is the game over and the usurper and the mafia win, or does it keep going, and the usurper just assume the godfather position?

Mafia still has to win for the Usurper to win. Offing the Godfather is only half of the job done.

what about fictional characters that have signifigance in the story (because my scenes usually include them, like extra cops, a sheriff, judge, etc.), and if they happen to die, it creates a rule change of some sort?
now i know i can do whatever the hell i want, but i wonder if it would be an inconvenience to the players or anything.
