The newest season of 24

I watched the first four episodes and thought it was an awesome opening. I like having the story centered around New York as well. The only season of 24 that I thought was relatively weak was Season #6 (Bauer saves the country again literally minutes after being released from Chinese captivity...c'mon!).

Anyways....is anyone else watching this season and what are your thoughts about how it has begun?

Ugh... I definitely can't do Jersey Shore... Pure genius on whoever decided to make it into a show, but I refuse to support it.

My wife and I have DVRed the first four episodes of 24. I love the first two seasons. The rest have been good, but do not compare to the first two.

Just to facilitate discussion/yelling, some other shows my wife and I have watched recently:

- NCIS - I love this show, my wife likes it. I like the comedy, I like the drama, I like the characters.
- Lost - We have not watched in two seasons, but we have the DVDs set to go.
- The Practice - Yes, it's old. We just finished watching some pirated version of the entire run of the show
- Boston Legal - Yes, it's cancelled. We're still on Season 2

My wife watches, incessantly, the Housewives shows (I actually liked Housewives of New Jersey), that cooking competition show, and Cake Boss. I log on to CC when those things are on our television.

Steven Seagal: Lawman is some of the finest schadenfreude on television since the 3 Stooges.

The guy just rides around being fat with the sheriff's department narrating everything they're doing as if he thinks he's some sort of badass, but really he's just repeating what the cops surely told him they would be doing before they left the precinct. He's like that slightly retarded guy you keep around because he's like a mascot for the crew, but all he does is cause trouble and draw unnecessary attention to himself.

It's the funniest show right now.

1st two seasons were definitely the best....the only time I got nervous on this season, was when kim showed up at CTU....I mean...if they kidnap her one more time from there...seriously......shes a great actress, and her character is great...but she cant possibly become involved every time the world is gonna end... its just ridiculous.

I have watched every season...lol about the gun loading things in several seasons jack goes to shoot and is outa ammo...but the 9 mm he uses has a 20 round clip in it so alot of timnes in the fights he doesnt shoot that many times...

season 3 was lame for me all the other seasons have been pretty awesome.

Fitz..not Kim this time...the Granddaughter gets kidnapped - I hope this isnt true as its to predictable...but think it will happen especialy after showing the time he spent with his grand child and committing to go to LA with his daughter....

I did like the first 4 hours so far....we have a Female Jack Bauer ..Introducing Renee!!! Her transformation is now complete with the last action of cutting the hand off to remove the parole bracelet LOL LOL Sometimes the morons that they have to play.

You sir, are a fascist

Since season #2, John Locke escaped from the island and joined the Chicago Bears as their punt returner. He eventually returned to the island after 2 seasons. Mike Ditka is now the leader of "the others". The island monster turned out to be Al Davis. The hatch where they had to push the button every 108 minutes was originally designed to contain Jerry Jones from running down onto the field during the 4th quarter of every Cowboy loss. Man, did you ever miss a lot. Better go watch American Idol.

Wait... American Idol and Lost did a crossover? What have I been doing with my life?

I wish I did have a button to contain Jerry Jones... if wishes were horses...
