It is not a picture of Buddha.

Anyone of the Buddhist faith would know this.

I could care less how this is ruled, and chuckled at AOG doing this right after owen's ruling, but if mods are gonna be strict about this avatar thing, you guys better get on it and start sending out some warnings or bans soon, its gonna get CRAZYYYYY

not to be the true representation of Jesus as most thought of Jesus as more of a mid toned person not "black". So either way it will be interesting how the mods rule this as that SURE looks like a buddha idol just as ownes SURE did look like jesus.

and my point continues to be proven... my picture was not of Jesus, but i had to change it or be banned for 6 months... AoG's is not of Buddha and the report is closed without any punishment... lesson learned, i am moderated wholly on a different level than any other user on CC... i invite someone to explain this to me, please...-the black jesus

What would be the point of that, when you refuse to see anyone else's point view? You are not stupid or ignorant so I can only conclude you are being deliberately obtuse. What I cant fathom out is why?

Actually I was VERY surprised that this so quickly dismissed. owens avi was Jesus like. AoG avi is Buddha like.

I think Evil Semp is normally one of the fairest and unbiased mods but this truly does appear to be unequal moderation.

I'd say make AoG remove his or give owen his back.

Perhaps king a needs to rule on this one too...

Personally, I'd go with the first option. I don't find them offensive, but I can see how some would.

I think the piece of art in AoG's avatar needs to be tripping over something with a speech bubble saying "f*ck" to be ok.

The intent is meant to make it ambiguous, and use the gray area to troll/flame/etc. Relate it to the various other rulings about pornography we've had on CC---the "ambiguous nipples" where the intent was to use the gray area to troll/flame/etc.

Moreover, it just comes down to the Common Sense clause---if you are intentionally trying to push buttons, there isn't any good that is going to come from it.

In the grand scheme of Conquer Club, I'm sure there are other issues we can all get behind a rally about.

Let's march to somewhere else. I'll leave this up for KA, since he said he is looking into it.
