How does one advance in ranks?

Well that says it all.
Also I lost a few games but it says I am undefeated why is this?

You might be confusing your feedback score in brackets next to your name in the game to your points score (which you can see on your profile page).

For the first couple days I noticed that most people were either really good, (like 135-0) or they were alright (12-35). Soon I learned those were FB. Man what was I thinking!

Though it actually might make better since if they upped your rank if you won a couple of games, to make it more real, but thanks I understand totally now.
