With all the political threads, I'd figure I'd try to find out how people get rid of their headaches.

Ignore all information that one finds disagreeable, then one will never be dissatisfied with one's own worldview. Attribute blame to others while ignoring the self. Never really seek to remedy the source of the problem--Hey, just pop a pill, and let that dull feeling overcome that tension.

On a less joking note, one could just focus on concentrating their inner energy and distribute it wherever to alleviate the pain (see: Reiki, meditation, etc). I do it all the time, and it works tremendously well. It's about concentration and self-control.

I'm thinking he means sex...in a lot of words.

Try taking magnesium on a regular basis and exersise e. g (fast paced walking) for half an hour a day and if your like me headaches will go away within a few weeks and you will be sleeping better and have more energy.

Cut off your arm. You'll no longer worry about your headache.

Depends on the type of headache.

Ibuprofen is pretty effective on most common types. If it's migraine, I've used amitriptyline on it.

Ibuprofen/asperine, and sex. Combine them for stacked effects.

I advice taking the medication about 15 to 30 minutes prior to the sex.

Oh and cannabis. Good for headache and/or relaxation.

It depends on the cause.
A lot of headaches (including hangovers) are caused by dehydration. However, be careful if you live in a VERY hot area and are drinking a LOT of water, you need a little salt. Most people take in enough nowadays, but there have been cases (people in contests and such) where people have actually died from too much water.

coffee, etc can help a caffeine withdrawel headache
Sinaid type meds or a hot shower can help a sinus headache

I get headaches from allergies to certain things.. fresh air helps then.
If its a migraine, there is not much you can do.

One thing IF YOUR HEADACHE IS DUE TO AN INJURY-- GET HELP IMMEDIATELY! There is no such thing as a "light concussion".

OK, and a poll that offers sex as one method for clearing a headache is not political?

I thought I had migraines my whole life. My wife suggested that perhaps my headaches were sinus related. So, I took Sudafed Sinus Headache and it worked.

I guess the point is - try everything (including sex).

if i have a headache i just turn my music on loader... gets rid of the headache but then i have a ringing in my ear

sex helps, it circulates the blood in your head(all pun intended!). When you get a headache it means you have a minor and small blood clump in your brain or a clot. Other experts say that orgasms during sexual intercourse can provide migraine relief....

This past Sunday I was in bed all day with a headache. 20 hours of sleep cleared it right up!

And try sex at least 4 more times to get an average in order to accurately determine its effectiveness
